Vigil’s Dougray Scott confirmed for new “gripping” BBC drama with “ingenious plot twists and dark secrets”
Vigil star Dougray Scott has been confirmed for a “gripping” new BBC drama titled Crookhaven.
In the exciting new eight-part series on the horizon, I’ll be stepping into the shoes of Caspian Lockett, the enigmatic headmaster and ruler of Crookhaven – a school with an intriguing twist: it’s for crooks! Here, students are honing their unique abilities to strike a balance, uphold justice, and maintain order beyond its walls.
In this scenario, the character Claire Forlani from the industry will portray Carmen, while the role of Gabriel Avery, a streetwise 13-year-old pickpocket who gets enrolled in school following his theft, will be taken up by Lucas Leach, who is known for his work on FBI International.

I’ve removed the tags since they don’t impact the meaning of the sentence and can make it harder to read for some people. Additionally, I added a comma after each name in the list to improve clarity and readability.
Completing our ensemble are Carmel Laniado, Genesis Lynea, Alex Mugnaioni, Miltos Yerolemou, and Imran Yusuf.
The television series Crookhaven is an adaptation of the popular book series by JJ Arcanjo, skillfully transformed for the screen by Justin Young, who is recognized for his work on Ripper Street, Sanditon, and Death in Paradise.
