Video footage, shot chaotically on Saturday night at Rose Bowl Stadium, depicted a man mercilessly assaulting a woman during a Rüfüs Du Sol concert. The occurrence left many onlookers in disbelief, while some audience members voiced their concerns about the event’s crowd management and safety protocols, given it was a sold-out performance.
The clip posted on Festive Owl’s platform depicts an incident where a person pushes a woman to the floor and continues to strike her several times, with others in attendance attempting to restrain him.
In a message circulated by Festive Owl, a woman described an incident where a man viciously attacked her and her group. He struck her in the face with a punch that left her unconscious, bleeding profusely. Despite this, he persisted with his assault on our group. She’s now seeking public assistance to identify this man following the attack in Section 12-H, Row 20 at the venue.
The man appeared upset when someone accidentally spilled a drink on him, as reported by the victim. According to the woman, he asserted that the spill was deliberate and left in a rage, only to return about half an hour later, shouting and making threats of potential violence.
The woman wrote that she attempted to ease the tension and offered another apology, but the next moment she found herself waking up in a medical tent an hour later, having missed the entire performance.

Music
This upcoming weekend, an Australian band known for combining Electronic Dance Music (EDM) with live instrumentation will perform at the Rose Bowl, concluding the North American segment of their 2025 tour. Their concert is in promotion of their latest album, ‘Inhale / Exhale.’
On Monday evening, through a post on social media, the Australian electronic music group expressed deep sorrow over the violent event that occurred during the beginning of their performance. They urged anyone with details regarding this incident to reach out to the Pasadena Police Department.
Such conduct is utterly intolerable everywhere, and learning it occurred during one of our events was deeply disheartening. The local authorities are currently looking into the matter.
People on social media heavily criticized the concert management, expressing dissatisfaction over lengthy queues, overcrowded conditions, and what they perceived as inadequate crowd control. Some went so far as to express concerns that, under similar circumstances, it could have resulted in a devastating incident like the 2021 Astroworld fatal crowd crush.
According to a concert attendee named Derek who spoke with NBC4 News, the situation was completely chaotic, resembling a circus, and it wasn’t secure at all. He is deeply upset about it.
Christina Molina shared with KTLA News that due to the high attendance, people had to watch the performance from the hallway or walkway instead of their regular seating area.
She shared with the station that there were so many people behind her, their bodies were practically touching her back, making it impossible to move forward on that path. There seemed to be no efforts made to manage the crowd.
