Victorious Spinoff Hollywood Arts Announced By Netflix

Netflix is creating a new show based on the hit Nickelodeon series Victorious, which originally aired from 2010 to 2013. This isn’t the first Victorious spinoff – Sam & Cat, featuring characters from iCarly and Victorious, previously aired. A second spinoff was announced in February 2025, but it was originally expected to be on Nickelodeon.

Netflix announced a new Victorious spinoff called Hollywood Arts on its X (formerly Twitter) account. The show will feature Daniella Monet and Yvette Nicole Brown. Netflix expressed their excitement, saying they are “freaking out!”

In the video, Brown faced the camera and asked, “Ms. Vega, you ready?” Monet then appeared on screen, responding with, “I think the real question is, are you ready?” Brown gave the cue to “Start the audition,” and the video showed a montage of behind-the-scenes footage from the filming.

The new show, Hollywood Arts, will debut on Netflix in 2026 with 26 episodes. After that, it will also be shown on Nickelodeon and available to stream on Paramount+ later in the same year.

Danielle Monet is returning to play Trina Vega, Tori Vega’s sister, in the new show Hollywood Arts. She originally played this role in Victorious, and this time Trina is working as a substitute teacher at a performing arts school.

Monet, also a producer on the show, said she feels incredibly fortunate and thankful to be revisiting the world of Victorious. She described her initial experience with the show as truly life-changing.

The cast of Hollywood Arts features Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm. Monet described the new additions as both energetic and impactful.

I’m incredibly excited and thankful to be returning as Trina with such a talented new cast. Being part of Victorious was a really important and transformative experience for all of us, and we’ve all stayed close ever since. The chance to help create something even remotely similar to that show feels amazing, and it’s hard to put into words.

Brown will appear as a guest star on the new show Hollywood Arts, and she’s no stranger to the Nickelodeon universe. She previously played the character Helen Dubois on Drake & Josh and later made a guest appearance as Helen on Victorious. Helen Dubois eventually became the principal of Hollywood Arts High School, which will be the central setting for the new spinoff series.

The show Victorious featured Victoria Justice as Tori, a student at a special performing arts high school. The main cast also included Matt Bennett, Elizabeth Gillies, and Avan Jogia.

Ariana Grande first gained widespread recognition on the shows Victorious and Sam & Cat. These roles helped launch her music career, leading to popular songs like “Problem,” “Break Free,” and “Thank U, Next.” She’s now starring as Glinda in the upcoming movie Wicked: For Good, alongside Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, continuing the story from the successful 2024 film Wicked.

It’s currently unknown whether any other original cast members, like Ariana Grande, will be involved in the new Victorious spin-off.
