On Sunday, Joy Corrigan and Todd Kraines became engaged during an extraordinary weekend they spent at a Malibu resort.
37-year-old model stunningly announced that she is pregnant with her first child from Kraines, who popped the question at the Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club, according to insiders speaking to TMZ on Tuesday.
Corrigan, who had graced the covers of Sports Illustrated, Playboy, and Victoria’s Secret, believed they were in for a peaceful vacation at the picturesque Southern California destination, instead expecting a tranquil ‘home-cation’.
During what was presumably a dinner date, Kraines suggested an alternative location, according to sources, as he used a golf cart to transport them to a secluded woodland area, where a grand floral display had been prepared.
Kraines shared with Corrigan that ‘the past six months with her have been an exhilarating rollercoaster, yet the most wonderful experience of my life.’ Then, he got down on one knee and popped the question.
It wasn’t completely unexpected, as they had been browsing for rings together, according to reliable sources, but Corrigan didn’t anticipate the proposal coming so swiftly.
Following the proposal, the newly-formed engaged couple savored a romantic meal together and shared their joyous news with family members, according to sources who spoke to the media outlet.
On Tuesday, Corrigan posted a collection of stories on Instagram for her 764,000 followers, offering glimpses into a romantic summer getaway she spent with the well-known figure from Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
At a glance, it appeared that the model, seemingly connected to an event, was embracing a massive flower bouquet so large that she could not fully envelop it with her arms.
She wrote she was the ‘luckiest girl’ with a heart eyes emoji, tagging Kraines into the post.
Her next post showed off the idyllic surroundings of the resort, including a large body of water.
Corrigan recorded the initial stages of a pregnancy that seems focused on fitness, since she was seen engaging in exercises while wearing a gray athletic outfit.
On that sunny summer day, she was spotted engaging with her companions, which included model Ludi Delfino, while they exercised together.
Kraines on Tuesday spoke with TMZ about his ‘bun in the oven’ with Corrigan.
When asked about the child’s gender, Kraines replied that he believes he has the knowledge, yet he plans to let Joy take care of that aspect.
He mentioned that his fiancée appears radiantly beautiful and delightfully charming during the early stages of her pregnancy.
Kraines mentioned that the initial phase was somewhat intriguing, but now she’s been eating well, which is reassuring.
‘She’s a stickler with her food, and making sure the baby is all good.’
Kraines shared that he’d recently connected with old friends, the Kardashians, during a whirlwind of personal happenings.

Kraines found himself at a loss when asked about naming one of the Kardashians as a godparent for his child.
