The Victoria’s Secret fashion show returned to New York City on Wednesday, bringing back its signature glamour. The show featured both iconic supermodels and a new generation of rising stars, often referred to as ‘nepo babies,’ walking the runway.
Bella Hadid was one of the celebrities who returned to the show, which was enjoying a successful comeback after being cancelled for six years. The lingerie brand had almost failed, but is now thriving again.
The supermodel turned heads at the show, walking the runway in a bold red bra and matching lace thong. She showed off a deep tan and was joined by her sister, Gigi Hadid.
She looked amazing as she confidently walked the runway, making a surprising return after taking time off to prioritize her well-being.
I was so worried when I heard! She’s been dealing with so much – she’s been in and out of the hospital for treatment related to her Lyme disease, which, honestly, people are always questioning, but she insists it’s real. And on top of that, she’s been really open about struggling with her mental health lately, which I admire, but it just breaks my heart to see her go through all of this.
Angel Jasmine Tookes also made a memorable appearance, opening the show while nine months pregnant. Emily Ratajkowski debuted at age 34, which is notable considering most Victoria’s Secret models retire around age 28.
The recent runway show, streamed live on Amazon Prime Video, marked a shift back to the show’s traditionally glamorous and alluring aesthetic. This change is part of an effort to boost sales after a period focused on social and political messaging.

Bella looked stunning in a red lace garter that highlighted her toned abs, paired with sheer red stockings and a flowing red cloak.
The catwalk star traded out her usual brunette tresses for feathered golden-blond locks.
She finished getting dressed and made her already striking appearance even more impressive with metallic, open-toe heels that fastened around her ankles.
Bella reappeared later in the show with a striking new outfit. She wore a white and silver ensemble, including a white bra with silver, sequined tassels.
Her bra was linked to her garter belt, which featured a sparkling, tasseled detail and delicate straps that wrapped around her waist.

The show turned into a sister act when her older sister Gigi Hadid also walked the runway.

Gigi styled her dark hair in a side-swept bun and showed off her toned stomach in a bright pink top paired with high-waisted lace underwear.
She covered up with a sheer pink robe that was lined with voluminous pink flowers.
Gigi told her sister how beautiful she looked in her second outfit – a fluffy, white teddy-style dress with a flowing skirt and soft, wing-like accents.

Instead of wings, she had a wire-frame clam shell decorated with enormous pearl-like beads.

Emily Ratajkowski walked the Victoria’s Secret runway for the first time, wearing a lavender lace bra and thong paired with strappy heels.
While most of the models had typical angel wings, she wore a beautiful pink orchid design instead.

Her minimalist ensemble was decorated with copper-colored metallic wings.
Later, Adriana returned with a second black-and-silver look.
She playfully compared her large, silver wings to a small teddy bear with delicate black stripes on its belly.
She completed her look with delicate black lace gloves that extended up her arms, paired with sleek, knee-high leather boots.

She completed her outfit with a coordinating garter and suspenders, and added a soft, pink floral boa for warmth and style.
Angel wore a relaxed outfit, including a pink crop top with a cutout that showed her light pink lace bra, paired with a tied bottom.

Irina Shayk’s outfit, complete with a large, eye-catching pink headdress, gave off a burlesque vibe.
Okay, let’s talk style! She was rocking a really daring look – a delicate, see-through white corset. To make it even more eye-catching, she paired it with a big, sparkly bow right over the bust, and completed the outfit with a matching thong. It was definitely a bold and confident choice!
For her second look, she wore a red bra paired with an unevenly cut top and a lightweight, see-through red skirt that moved as she walked, showing off her toned legs.
Amelia Gray Hamlin put on a sultry display in a skimpy black-and-silver look.
Lisa Rinna’s daughter wore a black bikini with a shiny rhinestone border and sparkling bows on the top.
She covered up her black panties with a bejeweled skirt frame that was also decorated with bows.

Amelia’s long, dark hair cascaded over her shoulders, highlighting her delicate cheekbones and full lips.
Amelia Gray turned heads in a second outfit: a short, red slip dress made of see-through fabric and completely covered in sequins.
As she turned, it became clear her dress had an open back, revealing a red thong and the outline of her buttocks.

She added some intrigue with a fuzzy sparkling silver robe draped down around her arms.
She had a striking look with her previous outfit: a red bra paired with flowing, red cargo pants that draped to the floor.
Oh my gosh, did you SEE Stella Maxwell? She was absolutely breathtaking! She wore this incredible red leather top – it just flowed over her, and it showed off her amazing figure. But the best part? It had ‘Very Sexy’ written across the chest in huge letters! I swear, she just gets more stunning every time I see a picture of her. It was seriously a moment.
The model showcased incredibly long legs in the outfit, which featured a red lace thong and matching open-toe heels with ankle straps.
I’m seeing a really cool, edgy look popping up everywhere! It’s all about pairing unexpected pieces – think tall black socks with white stripes, and then adding a sharp contrast with white, pointy-toed stiletto boots. To finish it off, and keep it a little unexpected, I love topping it with a black ski cap, even if it’s not snowing! It’s a surprisingly chic way to stay warm and make a statement.
Her beautiful blond hair and flawless face were highlighted by her bright red wings, which sparkled with shiny, square decorations.
Lila Moss, the daughter of Kate Moss, recently sported a relaxed and trendy style in an ad campaign for Pink, Victoria’s Secret’s line aimed at younger audiences.

She appeared poised to fly, with soft, dark wings and a short train flowing behind her.
I was so impressed with Candice Swanepoel’s recent look! She wore this gorgeous top made of lots of beaded strands, and it perfectly covered her gray-brown bra. It was a really stylish and unique outfit.
The outfit included a matching garter belt, panties, and stockings, and she completed the look with metallic wings.
Lilly Aldridge chose a classic and understated outfit: a black satin slip dress with beaded and sequined detailing on the skirt.

Her dress had a very low-cut neckline, showing her brown lace bra. She also wore a round crown that framed her face, giving her the appearance of a religious figure.

For many years, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a highly sought-after and popular event in the fashion world.
The show began in 1995 and quickly became popular, featuring many of the world’s top models.
By 2001, the show was televised live, attracting millions of viewers each year who enjoyed watching the beautiful models and famous performers.
In 2019, the yearly Victoria’s Secret fashion show was canceled after over twenty years. This followed significant criticism of the brand’s lack of diversity in body types, particularly after comments made by then-marketing chief Ed Razek regarding transgender and plus-size models.
After a six-year break, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned last year with a more inclusive lineup of models, featuring plus-size and transgender women.
The recent fashion show follows an announcement from Victoria’s Secret’s new CEO about a return to its traditionally glamorous and alluring style, marking a shift away from the more inclusive branding it adopted in recent years.
The lingerie brand is returning to its glamorous, classic style after experiencing declining sales and a lackluster reaction to its attempt at a more inclusive fashion show last year.

Hillary Super, the 53-year-old CEO who started in September 2024, acknowledged that previous leaders had let the brand lose its distinctiveness.
When I became CEO, Victoria’s Secret had a reputation for being out of touch and insensitive, and we needed to address those issues,” Martin Waters explained to the Wall Street Journal.
Following a 2020 New York Times article detailing widespread misogyny and harassment experienced by its employees and models, the company decided to make its branding less controversial.
At the time, the brand was under the leadership of Leslie Wexner and Ed Razek.
Super explained that many choices were made defensively, driven by fear, after the company shifted from provocative marketing to a more conservative approach in response to public criticism.
Ugh, it’s just… they completely changed everything! My favorite brand used to be all about gorgeous, daring lingerie, but now? It’s just…covered up! Everything is so plain and practical, like they’re afraid to show anything! And don’t even get me started on the obsession with workout clothes and pajamas. Seriously, where’s the *passion*? It’s like they don’t even *want* us to feel beautiful anymore!
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been watching Victoria’s Secret closely, and I’m glad to see them evolving. Honestly, they really had to make a change. After facing criticism for fostering a pretty toxic and exclusionary environment, they’ve started to embrace diversity and inclusion, and it’s a long-overdue shift. It’s about time the brand reflected the real world and celebrated all women.
Casey Crowe Taylor, a former PR employee for the company, shared with the Wall Street Journal that what struck her most was how deeply rooted this behavior seemed to be, especially as someone who had always been taught to be independent.

Back then, this mistreatment was simply dismissed and considered a normal part of life. It felt like people were being manipulated into accepting it. And if anyone dared to speak out or try to change things, they weren’t just overlooked – they faced consequences for it, she explained.
Okay, so when all this stuff started coming out, Razek *immediately* said it wasn’t true. He insisted everything was either completely made up or that people were twisting his words – totally out of context, he claimed. I mean, he was adamant about it, you know? He really wanted everyone to believe him.
He shared that he’s lucky to have collaborated with many incredibly talented people, and he values the respectful relationships they’ve built together.
A representative for Wexner, who had a well-known relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, didn’t respond to requests for comment.
Jeffrey Epstein reportedly told numerous Victoria’s Secret models and those hoping to become models that he was affiliated with the company, a claim that was false.
In 2019, Victoria’s Secret received criticism for both the declining quality of its products and the limited diversity of the models it used.
In that same year, Stuart Burgdoerfer, the CFO of Victoria’s Secret’s parent company, announced that the yearly VS Fashion Show would not take place.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show made a comeback in 2024, showcasing a more diverse range of models. This included plus-size models like Ashley Graham, as well as transgender and models of various ethnicities.
Okay, so after everything that happened with Razek, Victoria’s Secret *finally* did something amazing! They cast Valentina Sampaio – she’s absolutely stunning – and she’s their first transgender model *ever* for a VS Pink campaign. I’m seriously freaking out, it’s about time they embraced inclusivity like this. It feels like a huge step, and I’m so excited to see her work!
Honestly, I couldn’t believe the negativity! Everyone was saying the show was… boring, and that it just *didn’t feel* like the brand anymore. They said it was missing all the sparkle and glamour we’ve come to expect, and it really hurt my feelings, because I thought it was trying something new!
