Victoria’s Secret Angels Irina Shayk, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel and Joan Smalls hang up their wings for another year as they let their hair down at star-studded after party

Supermodels Irina Shayk, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, and Joan Smalls celebrated after the show Wednesday night at the Crane Club, relaxing and enjoying themselves after walking the runway.

Victoria’s Secret Angels and rising stars with famous parents came together for the brand’s yearly fashion show in New York City.

The supermodels marked the successful return of the show after a six-year break that almost meant the end for the famous lingerie brand.

Irina, 39, swapped her racy red lingerie for a glamorous champagne gown to party in the big apple.

Doutzen, age 40, looked remarkably young and showed off her toned physique, wearing high-waisted jeans alongside Imaan Hammam, who chose a more revealing outfit.

Candice, 36, displayed her underwear and presented her incredibly toned legs in a semi-sheer LBD.

Model Joan Smalls, 37, looked stunning in a daring outfit featuring a corset and leather jacket.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Alessandra Ambrosio was BACK! I seriously couldn’t believe it when she walked the runway – it feels like forever since she last wore those wings back in 2017! And it was SO sweet seeing her with Buck Palmer cheering her on. They’re just the cutest, and it made her return even more special!

For the after party, Alessandra put on a leggy display in a tiny mini skirt and plunging lace top.

Nina Dobrev looked stylish in a patterned satin skirt and a black top as she attended an event celebrating the Angels.

The recent runway show, broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video, marked a return to the show’s traditionally glamorous and alluring style. This shift aims to boost sales after a period of focusing on social and political messaging.

Bella Hadid turned heads on the runway, showcasing a deep tan and a striking crimson bra and lace thong. Her sister, Gigi Hadid, was also present at the show.

She looked amazing as she confidently walked the runway, making a surprising return after taking time off to prioritize her well-being.

The model, who has appeared on the cover of Vogue, recently received treatment in the hospital for complications she believes stem from chronic Lyme disease. She’s also been dealing with mental health challenges lately.

Angel Jasmine Tookes also turned heads, opening the show while nine months pregnant. Emily Ratajkowski made her first appearance for the brand at age 34, which is notable considering most Victoria’s Secret models retire around age 28.

Bella looked stunning in a red lace garter that highlighted her toned stomach, paired with sheer red stockings and a flowing red cloak.

The catwalk star traded out her usual brunette tresses for feathered golden-blond locks.

I was completely captivated by her look! She finished her outfit with these amazing metallic heels – they were open-toed and wrapped beautifully around her ankles, making her seem even more striking and confident. They really completed the whole effect!

Bella reappeared later in the show with a striking new outfit. She wore a white and silver ensemble, including a white bra with silver, sequined tassels.

Her bra and garter were linked together, both featuring a sparkling, tasseled detail. Thin straps wrapped around her waist.

Her long, slender legs were highlighted by a flouncy, tasseled skirt, and she finished the ethereal look with large, cloud-like white wings covered in flowers.

The show turned into a sister act when her older sister Gigi Hadid also walked the runway.

Gigi styled her dark hair in a side-swept bun and showed off her toned stomach in a bright pink top paired with high-waisted lace underwear.

She covered up with a sheer pink robe that was lined with voluminous pink flowers.

Gigi told her sister how beautiful she looked in her second outfit – a fluffy white dress with a flowing skirt and soft, wing-like accents.

Jasmine Tookes started the show by revealing her baby bump in a shimmering gold mesh outfit worn over a brown satin bra and thong.

Instead of wings, she had a wire-frame clam shell decorated with enormous pearl-like beads.

Emily Ratajkowski walked the Victoria’s Secret runway for the first time, wearing a lavender lace bra and thong with high-strapped heels.

While most of the models had typical angel wings, she wore a beautiful pink orchid design instead.

Adriana Lima turned heads with a daring outfit: a completely see-through, sparkling bodysuit. It was so sheer, it almost looked like she wasn’t wearing anything underneath.

Her minimalist ensemble was decorated with copper-colored metallic wings.

Later, Adriana returned with a second black-and-silver look.

Okay, so picture this: I was playing with a really fun visual contrast today. I have these incredible, large silver wings – they make a statement, right? – and I paired them with this adorable little teddy bear cutout. It was a sweet touch, with sheer black stripes highlighting its tiny tummy. It’s all about balancing bold and delicate, and I thought the effect was really playful and chic!

She completed her look with delicate black lace gloves that extended up her arms, and a pair of sleek, knee-high leather boots.

Alessandra Ambrosio looked beautiful in a sheer, beige swimsuit. The design included delicate, shell-like details that provided coverage.

The Brazilian model wore a top and bottom connected by crisscrossing straps, and completed the look with striking, metallic heart-shaped wings.

For her second look, she wore a black lace bustier paired with black lace panties featuring dual straps, and completed the outfit with lace stockings.

She was backed by wings with eye holes designed to look like a masquerade ball mask.

WNBA star Angel Reese towered over the runway in a floral bra and thong.

She completed her outfit with a garter and dangling suspenders, and added a soft, pink floral boa for warmth and style.

Angel wore a relaxed outfit, including a pink crop top with a cutout that showed her light pink lace bra, and a top tied at the waist.

Irina Shayk’s outfit, complete with a tall, striking pink headpiece, gave off a burlesque vibe.

She wore a delicate, see-through white corset, adorned with a large, sparkling bow across her chest, and a coordinating thong.

For her second look, she wore a red bra paired with an unevenly cut top and a light, flowing red skirt. The skirt moved as she walked, drawing attention to her toned legs.

Amelia Gray Hamlin put on a sultry display in a skimpy black-and-silver look.

Lisa Rinna’s daughter wore a black bikini with a shiny rhinestone border and sparkly bows on the top.

She covered up her black panties with a bejeweled skirt frame that was also decorated with bows.

Amelia’s long, dark hair cascaded around her shoulders, drawing attention to her prominent cheekbones and full lips.

Amelia Gray turned heads in a second outfit: a short, red slip dress made of sheer fabric and completely covered in sequins.

When she turned, her dress was open in the back, revealing a red thong and the outline of her figure.

Following her performance of “Make You Mine,” Madison Beer also modeled on the runway.

She emerged in a sheer pink corset top with silvery floral embroidery and pink feathered wings.

Behati Prinsloo brought a calming moment to the show wearing a delicate, light blue-gray robe, paired with a flowing gray scarf and a unique, circular wing-like accessory.

Adam Levine’s wife showed off a new hairstyle, switching from brunette to a look that highlighted her large, round earrings.

I was completely captivated by Behati’s look! She wore this gorgeous, subtly shimmering gray-brown bra with silver details, paired with a matching garter and thong. And draped over everything was this incredible, flowing robe in a rich copper color – it was absolutely stunning!

At age 12, Alex Consani made history as the world’s youngest transgender model. For a photoshoot, they wore a black bra, sheer high-waisted panties, a garter, and matching stockings.

She added some intrigue with a fuzzy sparkling silver robe draped down around her arms.

She had a striking look with her previous outfit: a red bra paired with baggy, red cargo pants that flowed to the floor.

Stella Maxwell turned heads in a loose-fitting red leather top, featuring the words ‘Very Sexy’ prominently displayed across the front.

The model showcased incredibly long legs in the outfit, featuring a red lace thong and matching open-toe heels with ankle straps.

She wore tall black socks with white stripes and white, pointed-toe stiletto boots, and topped her very light blonde hair with a black ski cap.

Her beautiful blond hair and flawless face were highlighted by her bright red wings, which were covered in shiny, square sequins.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been watching Lila Moss, Kate Moss’s daughter, really come into her own! She recently did a campaign for Victoria’s Secret’s Pink line – it’s aimed at a younger audience – and she totally switched up her usual style for a much more relaxed and effortless vibe. It was a cool, casual look that felt really fresh.

She wore a simple, fitted gray bodysuit with the logo displayed in bold silver letters across the front.

The 23-year-old woman, with her blond hair, wore a top with white knee-high socks that had gray stripes. She completed the look with pink heels, a red lanyard – perfect for campus – and a gray and pink beanie.

She wore a simple gray bodysuit that looked like a sweatshirt, with the logo displayed in bold silver letters on the front.

She also wore a denim jacket with comical denim wings.

Olympic gold medalist Sunisa Lee showed off her fit physique wearing a pink crop top over a black bra.

She paired the outfit with a pink cardigan, black athletic shorts, and shiny silver heels that complemented her hoop earrings.

Barbara Palvin turned heads in a dazzling silver outfit. She wore a unique top designed like a bird in flight, paired with a short, silver sequined skirt that showed off her legs.

Ashley Graham showcased her figure in a black lace bra and matching, slightly see-through panties.

She appeared poised to fly, with soft, dark wings and a short train flowing behind her.

Candice Swanepoel, a model from South Africa, wore a top made of beaded strands over a gray-brown bra.

I was absolutely captivated by her outfit! It was a complete look – matching garter, panties, and stockings – and the metallic wings just took it to another level. It was so striking and really made a statement.

Lilly Aldridge chose a simple yet elegant outfit: a black satin slip dress with beaded and sequined detailing on the skirt.

Her dress had a very low neckline, showing off her brown lace bra. She also wore a round crown around her face, giving her the appearance of a religious figure.

Karol G, one of the night’s performers, turned heads with her outfit: a red satin bodysuit featuring sharp, wing-like details and heels adorned with leaf designs.

Precious Lee showcased her figure in a black bra worn over a delicate pink lace bustier and coordinating panties.

She covered her long, lustrous raven tresses with a dramatic headdress decorated with a pink fan.

Abby Champion’s dark, shiny wings stood out against the bright pink, see-through teddy she wore over a black bra and underwear.

Joan Smalls appeared chic in a white lingerie set, layered with a delicate top made of flowing gold chains.

She wore small feathered wings attached to her head reminiscent of the Greek god Hermes.

Joan’s other look at the show featured feathered sleeves with a sleek red bra and panties.

Imaan Hamman wore black underwear adorned with tassels, silver sparkles, and pink bows.

She wore a black bra with jeweled belly chains and a black feathered headdress, completing her outfit.

I was absolutely captivated by Abény Nhial’s look. She paired the most delicate white lingerie – a simple bra and panties – with this incredible dress. It was like a work of art, a lattice of jeweled strands adorned with these gorgeous, shimmering purple pom-poms. The contrast was just stunning!

Angelina Kendall wore a white lace bra and matching panties, accessorized with a jeweled belt clearly showing the Victoria’s Secret logo.

Grace Elizabeth looked like a gift, wearing a delicate, beaded dress with a large white bow positioned over her white bra.

Awar Odhiang’s outfit included a see-through, beaded dress, which she paired with white and pink striped pajama pants and a white bra for more coverage.

She rocked a crap decorated with shooting star designs.

Model Mathilda Gvarliani wore a pink bustier and underwear set, layered with a matching top and skirt featuring Victoria’s Secret logos.

The outfit featured white bottoms, and she wear enormous rectangular earrings.

Let’s talk about feeling confident in your own skin! I recently saw a photo of Emeline Hoareau looking absolutely radiant in a classic black lingerie set. It was a simple bra and panties, but the delicate pink lace detailing added a beautiful, feminine touch. It really highlighted how a little something special can make you feel amazing – it’s all about embracing what makes *you* feel good!

She wore a flamingo-inspired pink-and-black feathered headdress.

For many years, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was a highly sought-after and popular event in the fashion world.

The event began in 1995 and quickly became popular, featuring many of the world’s top models.

By 2001, the show was televised live, attracting millions of viewers each year who enjoyed watching the beautiful models and famous performers.

In 2019, the annual fashion show was canceled after 20 years due to widespread criticism. The brand had been facing backlash for a lack of diversity in body types, especially after comments made by marketing chief Ed Razek regarding transgender and plus-size models.

After a six-year break, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned last year with a more inclusive lineup of models, featuring plus-size and transgender individuals.

The recent fashion show follows an announcement by Victoria’s Secret’s new CEO that the brand is shifting back to its traditionally glamorous and overtly sexy image, moving away from a previous attempt to appeal to a wider range of social and political views.

After facing years of declining sales and a lackluster reaction to its attempt at a more inclusive fashion show, the lingerie brand is returning to its classic, glamorous image.

As a long-time fan, I was really interested to hear our new CEO, Hillary Super, speak recently. She’s only been in the role since September 2024, but she was incredibly honest about things. She admitted that the brand had lost some of its original focus over the years, and that previous leaders hadn’t quite maintained its strong identity. It’s refreshing to hear that she recognizes this and is ready to address it!

When I became CEO, Victoria’s Secret had a reputation for being out of touch and insensitive, and we needed to address those issues,” Martin Waters explained to the Wall Street Journal.

Following a 2020 New York Times article detailing widespread misogyny and harassment experienced by its employees and models, the company decided to make its branding less controversial.

At the time, the brand was under the leadership of Leslie Wexner and Ed Razek.

According to Super, a lot of choices were made based on fear after the company shifted from provocative marketing to a more comfortable approach, following public criticism.

The brand shifted away from its previously revealing lingerie, now offering more modest and simply designed clothing. They’re now emphasizing comfortable activewear and pajamas.

Victoria’s Secret began to focus more on diversity and inclusion after facing criticism for its previously problematic company culture.

Casey Crowe Taylor, a former PR employee for the company, shared with the Wall Street Journal that what struck her most was how deeply rooted this behavior was, especially as someone who had always valued her independence.

Back then, this mistreatment was simply dismissed and seen as just how things were. It felt like people were being manipulated into accepting it. And if anyone spoke up or tried to change things, they didn’t just face indifference—they were actively penalized, she explained.

Razek immediately refuted the claims, stating they were completely false or misrepresented.

He shared that he’s lucky to have collaborated with many incredibly talented people, and he values the respectful relationships they’ve built together.

A representative for Wexner, who had a known relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Jeffrey Epstein reportedly deceived numerous Victoria’s Secret models and those hoping to become models by falsely claiming he was affiliated with the company.

In 2019, Victoria’s Secret received significant criticism for both the declining quality of its products and the limited diversity of the models it featured.

In the same year, Stuart Burgdoerfer, the CFO of Victoria’s Secret’s parent company, announced that the yearly VS Fashion Show would be canceled.

As a longtime fan, I was so thrilled to see the VS Fashion Show back this year! What really stood out to me was the incredible change – it felt so much more inclusive. Finally, we saw plus-size models like Ashley Graham on the runway, alongside transgender models and a beautiful representation of different ethnicities. It was a really refreshing and positive shift.

As a lifestyle expert, I was thrilled to see Victoria’s Secret take such a positive step forward! After some changes in leadership, they finally cast Valentina Sampaio – their very first transgender model – for their VS Pink campaign. It’s a really exciting moment for inclusivity and representation in the fashion world, and I think it signals a great shift for the brand.

However, many critics found the show disappointing, saying it didn’t have the usual sparkle and elegance associated with the brand.
