Victoria Beckham’s big night: Defiant family party in Paris to mark star’s honour – as Cruz supports David, Anna Wintour holds court, girlfriends rally and booze flows amid Brooklyn row

Victoria Beckham received an award in Paris on Monday night and celebrated with her family and leading figures in the fashion world.

The Beckham family is currently experiencing conflict with their 26-year-old son, Brooklyn, who publicly criticized them last week. Despite this, the family presented a united front in Paris following a recent event.

The 51-year-old actress received a prestigious honor – she was made a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters. During the ceremony, her speech deeply moved her husband, David, 50, and led to a sweet moment between her and their son Cruz, 20.

Victoria’s event drew a large crowd, including not only her family but also major figures from the fashion world like Vogue editors Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful, and model Helena Christensen, who gathered at Salon Jerome and Salon des Marechaux.

The party also included Romeo Beckham, 23, with his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 24, Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, and Harper, the Beckhams’ 14-year-old daughter.

Victoria gave a heartfelt speech when accepting her award, mentioning both her husband, David, and their children.

Throughout her speech, Victoria appeared happy but also grew emotional. Her son, Cruz, offered comfort by placing a hand on her shoulder as Jackie watched with admiration. Shortly after, Jackie shared a heartfelt message about Victoria online.

Romeo kept a serious expression throughout his mother’s speech, while Harper, looking stylish in a black dress that matched Victoria’s, smiled warmly.

After French model Rachida Dati presented the award, the family joined the celebratory party, where the always-hilarious Victoria was spotted beaming and showing off her badge.

Having Anna, a well-known figure in the fashion world, was a significant benefit for Victoria and her family, who were happily listening while she spoke.

Edward, a fellow editor at Vogue who is 53 years old, stood with the star, both showing their support for Victoria. The star wore sunglasses for the occasion.

Farida Khelfa and Helena looked radiant and youthful as they posed together at the glamorous event, both beaming smiles.

Oh my gosh, you would NOT believe it! I was looking at photos and saw JR – you know, the incredible artist? – showing David something on his phone. David was totally engrossed, seriously focused on the screen. Then, they actually started talking to Victoria! It was just a quick moment, but I swear, the energy was amazing. I’m obsessed!

Rachida delightedly chatted to a slew of guests having given the star her medal.  

Kim and Jackie clearly showed their support for the star, unlike Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz.

This support is especially notable considering Brooklyn’s previous statements about his wife and mother, which included claims that his mother tried to sabotage his relationship and that his family acted in a controlling and insincere manner.

Since Brooklyn’s surprising announcement, the family hasn’t said anything publicly. However, Jackie appeared eager to stay on good terms with Victoria, posting a very complimentary – and possibly deliberate – message to her on Instagram.

She shared a family photo, including a picture of Romeo’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull, and wrote: ‘Congratulations, Victoria Beckham…’

Victoria and David Beckham weren’t able to have their son Brooklyn at the special event, where Victoria expressed her gratitude towards all of her children.
