Victoria Beckham reveals what she really thought about THAT viral Rolls Royce moment in her husband David’s Netflix documentary

Victoria Beckham has shared her true feelings about the popular Rolls Royce scene featured in her husband David’s Netflix documentary.

The series, which came out in 2023, offered a personal look at David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, and their relationship-from how it began to their life as a family. It also followed David’s journey as a football player.

A specific instance gained a lot of attention online: Victoria mentioned she came from a ‘working class‘ background, just as David unexpectedly appeared and reminded everyone that her father actually drove her to school in a Rolls-Royce.

The hilarious scene spawned a host of memes and became a talking point from the successful series.

In a recent interview with The Times this Sunday, Victoria shared her thoughts on the public’s response to the project and the documentary as a whole.

She told the publication: ‘If I’m being completely honest, I didn’t love me in that documentary…’

She explained that she altered her decision after the video of the Rolls Royce incident became popular online – and she emphasizes that the whole thing was genuine and not planned.

She said: ‘He was meant to have left for work but was watching the monitor in another room.

I was really pleased with the positive response to my contributions. Watching David’s documentary helped me understand how liberating it can be to admit you’re wrong. I actually enjoy being wrong. It feels good to be challenged, and I welcome it. I genuinely love that feeling. Bring it on!

I was so touched when I heard David say in a recent interview that Victoria was the ‘star’ of his Netflix series. It really warmed my heart to hear him acknowledge her impact like that – she absolutely deserves all the praise! It’s so clear how much he appreciates her and her work.

During a well-known part of the conversation, when discussing her childhood, Victoria explained: ‘We both grew up in families that worked incredibly hard; we’re a very working-class background‘.

While overhearing the interview from another room, David suddenly appeared and interjected with, ‘Be honest!‘ Victoria, clearly frustrated, quickly responded: ‘I am being honest!

David then asked her: ‘What car did your dad drive you to school in?’

I was really eager to hear what she had to say, and she began, ‘So my dad did…’ but then he cut her off, insisting, ‘It just needs one answer!‘ It was frustrating to witness, as I wanted to hear the full story, but he seemed determined to keep it brief. I was quite disappointed, honestly.

Posh then retorted that it ‘wasn’t a simple answer’ before he asked her again what car it was.

She responded, saying: ‘It really depends, but yes, my dad actually owned a Rolls Royce back in the 80s!’ – and then David simply said ‘thank you’ before walking off.

As a lifestyle observer, I’ve been following the Beckham family, and it’s interesting to see what’s happening! It all started after David shared a really sweet message about his wife, Victoria, following her show at Paris Fashion Week on Friday night. It was lovely to see the whole family together, supporting her from the front row – though Brooklyn wasn’t able to join them this time.

The whole family came to support mum Victoria at her big fashion show in Paris, which was full of famous faces.

As the show concluded, Victoria glowed with happiness when she received applause from the VIPs in attendance, including her 14-year-old daughter, Harper.

Her children shared many heartfelt messages on social media, but her eldest son, Brooklyn, 26, didn’t post anything and was absent from the event, which many noticed.

It’s been since December of last year since anyone has seen photos of Brooklyn with his family. Sources have said he is ‘no longer on speaking terms’ with his parents and siblings.

David shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, writing: ‘We are beyond proud of you. Watching you pull everything together so flawlessly, with such professionalism, technical skill, and dedication, is truly amazing. You and your team should know that what you’ve achieved is something special…’

It’s wonderful because your team appreciates and supports you because you value them – that’s what good leadership looks like… Congratulations again, you’re incredible, and having Knight Rider as the opener was fantastic! WOW @victoriabeckham.

Feeling incredibly proud, Victoria also posted on her social media, sharing a photo of her family seated in the front row.

The lovely photo featured David sitting next to Anna Wintour, the former editor-in-chief of Vogue. His daughter, Harper, was seated on his other side, alongside her brothers Romeo and Cruz, who was accompanied by his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel.

Victoria simply said: ‘I love you all so much… I couldn’t do it without you! xx’

In a social media post, Cruz, 20, shared a photo from the show and wrote: ‘So proud of you mum.

Romeo also posted a photo of himself with Harper, tagging Victoria Beckham and writing: ‘Soooooo good @victoriabeckham.’

While the other Beckham children all publicly showed support for their mother, Brooklyn decided to focus on supporting himself.

In snaps taken on Friday, he decided to publicly promote his own business, Cloud 23, instead.

At the conclusion of her performance, Victoria affectionately kissed her husband, David, while beaming with a large smile.

It was a break from tradition for the designer, who typically holds a stern look whilst in public.

Victoria wore an oversized grey baggy suit for the evening, with a white low-cut top underneath.
