Victoria Beckham reveals behind-the-scenes secrets of THAT viral Rolls Royce moment from David's Netflix documentary

As an ardent fan who has followed Victoria Beckham’s journey since the Spice Girls days, I must say that the recent revelation about the “Rolls-Royce” incident from David’s Netflix documentary has only added another layer of admiration for this powerhouse couple. The fact that it was an unscripted moment makes it even more endearing and relatable. It’s a testament to their realness amidst the glamour and fame, something that many celebrities struggle to maintain.

Victoria Beckham recently addressed a notable scene from her husband David’s Netflix documentary, emphasizing that the cameras caught an unscripted, genuine exchange.

In October last year, the family was in stitches due to a humorous scene in the documentary where David made light of his wife’s assertion regarding her genuinely working-class background.

David, showing some surprise, inquired honestly of Victoria if she was telling the truth. To this, she responded affirmatively, saying: “Indeed!” Then, persistently, he requested that Victoria disclose the type of car her father used to take her to school in.

Eventually, the Spice Girl conceded and stated: ‘Alright. Back in the ’80s, my father owned a Rolls-Royce.’ ‘Thanks,’ David responded, and promptly exited, shutting the door after himself, completing his task.

In a recent chat with Harper’s Bazaar, I shared an interesting tidbit: the moment was spontaneous. To elaborate, David was in another part of the room, engrossed in watching on the monitor, before popping his head into the scene.

‘It was not rehearsed. Like the dancing in the tent. None of it was rehearsed.’

Victoria took advantage of the situation by introducing a £110 “My Dad Had A Rolls Royce” T-shirt, which is part of her personal branded apparel line.

The couple also spoofed the scene in a Super Bowl advert debut for Uber Eats.

Over the past year, Netflix reports that Beckham was the most popular series for a span of two weeks following its release, attracting over 11 million viewers worldwide.

In her conversation with Harper’s Bazaar, Victoria openly shared that she has grown past the desire for celebrity status following her 50th birthday, choosing instead to hand over the spotlight to her daughter Harper.

The fashion designer talked about her experience of being under the spotlight, which started when she became famous as a member of the Spice Girls in the 90s.

The mom of four shared that it was once enjoyable dressing up elegantly and having photographers take her picture, but now she doesn’t care for it anymore.

In regards to maintaining her personal privacy, she expressed: “Experiencing such periods helps shape your identity in the end. Currently, we prefer to live quietly and keep our affairs private.

As a connoisseur of style, I once reveled in the thrill of strolling down Bond Street, with the flashes of cameras from paparazzi hot on my heels. It was an exhilarating experience, knowing that every outfit choice would be scrutinized by the public eye. However, these days, I find myself yearning for a more tranquil and private approach to fashion – one that doesn’t involve the relentless pursuit of the paparazzi.

As a lifestyle consultant, I’ve been reflecting lately. Growing up, I embraced a certain rhythm, but today, life has become an intricate tapestry of activities, responsibilities, and the needs of my growing family. It’s overwhelming at times. At 50, I find myself prioritizing what truly matters, reducing stressors, and letting go of unnecessary worries. Essentially, I’m choosing to focus on the essential aspects of life.

It’s said that although Victoria and David might prefer to stay out of the limelight, they are rumored to be planning a covert, multi-million dollar business venture aimed at introducing their daughter Harper, aged 13, to the world of work.

The December/January issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK is on sale from 6 November
