Victoria Beckham snapped a photo with Lily Collins after surprising the actress – a longtime Spice Girls fan – during an appearance on The Tonight Show, bringing Collins to tears.

Lily, the 36-year-old actress from Emily in Paris, was stunned when Victoria unexpectedly appeared on stage during her interview with Jimmy, who is 58.

Lily was clearly emotional and in tears as a lifelong dream was realized, and she shared that she’d recently gotten the singer’s famous bob hairstyle.

Following the appearance, Posh Spice posed for a snap with Lily backstage.

The two women showed off their incredible figures as they stood in front of a Tonight Show logo. 

Victoria, 51, wowed in a grey silk dress and strappy black heels for her appearance.

Meanwhile, Lily looked chic as ever in a black dress with sheer panels throughout.

Lily seemed to take a page from Victoria’s book, both of them keeping straight faces for the photo.

Victoria simply captioned the image: ‘Kisses @lilycollins xx.’

I spotted something really fun on Victoria Beckham’s Instagram! She was signing original Spice Girls records – how cool is that? It’s such a lovely way for her to connect with fans and acknowledge that incredible part of her history. It just feels so authentic and special when celebrities do things like that.

She said: ‘For the lovely @spicegirls fans waiting in the cold!’

Victoria decided to end the evening and was seen putting on a long, grey suede coat as she walked to her car.

Just before Victoria appeared on stage, Jimmy playfully asked Lily if she was still embracing her Posh Spice style.

She replied: ‘I hope I never leave my Posh era.’ 

He showed Lily and Victoria in a split-screen photo, both posing in similar ways. This made the actress playfully admit that Victoria will always be more stylish.

Jimmy then shocked Lily as he brought Victoria out, after the star said she’d never met her.

Victoria and Lily were sitting across from each other when Victoria told Lily her hair looked particularly shiny.

‘No, no, no,’ Lily replied, adding, ‘Well, thank you, but no, I could never out-shine, no.’

Jimmy was curious about how Victoria earned the nickname ‘Posh,’ and Lily admitted she’d wondered the same thing.

I got the nickname ‘Posh Spice’ because I enjoyed fashion and going to nice places,” Victoria explained. “It actually worked out well for me in the Spice Girls, though. The other girls weren’t that interested in designer clothes, so they were happy with all the free outfits we got, and I ended up getting the entire clothing budget.

‘I like how you think,’ Lily said, clearly impressed.

Later this month, viewers can once again see Lily in her role as a new season of Emily In Paris premieres on Netflix – this will be her fifth time playing the character.

Victoria shared in an interview with Jimmy that her husband, David, was the one who encouraged her to make the Netflix documentary.

She initially refused, but her team persuaded her to go ahead, and ultimately, it was her husband who convinced her to agree.

Being in the Spice Girls for four years was a really proud time for me, but it ended up defining a large part of who I was for a while.

After twenty years in fashion, I felt ready to look back on my career and plan for the future. Making this documentary was a deeply personal experience, almost like a year of therapy.

After twenty challenging years in the fashion industry, I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. It’s a really tough business, and I’ve faced a lot of rejection, but I’ve always persevered and worked hard to achieve my goals.
