Despite reports of a family conflict with her son Brooklyn – including him blocking family members on social media – Victoria Beckham seemed unbothered as she got ready for a Christmas evening out on Tuesday.
As a longtime follower, I was really shocked to hear things were even more strained with the family than we thought. It turns out Brooklyn, the oldest son, actually blocked everyone on Instagram! It honestly feels like there’s no going back from that – the rift seems completely unfixable now.
Despite the controversy over her recent blocking actions, Victoria, 51, seemed unconcerned as she tried on dresses from her own line, asking her followers for their opinion on which one she should wear to a holiday dinner.
Victoria was deciding between two dresses: a black midi dress with a high slit, and a long-sleeved, fitted blue satin dress.
She shared a photo of two dresses from her #VBPSS26 collection and asked her followers which one she should wear to dinner, saying she couldn’t decide.
I’ve been following Brooklyn for a while now, and it seems like he blocked his family after his mom reacted to one of his cooking videos. People started leaving really supportive comments, encouraging him to try and reconnect with them, and it looks like that’s what led to him taking that step. It’s a sad situation, honestly.

Fourteen-year-old Sister Harper, who is likely the most blameless person involved in the conflict between Brooklyn and his parents, has also been taken off social media – only three months after starting her own Instagram account.
Katie Hind reports in today’s Mail+ that Brooklyn Beckham won’t be attending the wedding of Holly Ramsay, daughter of Gordon and Tana Ramsay, and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty. The wedding is scheduled for December 27th, and this exclusion extends to close family friends like the Ramsays.
Lady Victoria seemed a bit confused or surprised on Monday while celebrating the holidays with her colleagues.
A video showed the former Spice Girl celebrating with her team from her fashion and beauty company after jokingly toasting herself and then asking for their opinions on her.
She enjoyed her Christmas dinner wearing hair clips and playfully requested extra lights, joking that after appearing in a recent Netflix documentary, she’s discovered she looks her best when surrounded by bright illumination.
She shared a clip, seemingly from a recent promotional video, with the caption: ‘Being me is hard work, but someone has to do it! Here’s some behind-the-scenes footage from the @victoriabeckhambeauty Creative Director series. Happy holidays!’
Later that day, Brooklyn Beckham’s wife, actress Nicola Peltz—who had also stopped following his parents and siblings on Instagram—shared a celebratory post of her own.
Thirty-year-old Peltz posted a Hanukkah greeting on social media, sharing a photo of her father, billionaire Nelson Peltz, standing near their family’s menorah and candles. She captioned the image, ‘Happy Hanukkah from our family to yours.’

Reports initially surfaced that David and Victoria Beckham had unfollowed their eldest son. However, Cruz Beckham, 20, quickly clarified that wasn’t true.
He explained that reports of his parents unfollowing him were false. They woke up to find their accounts had been blocked, as had his own.
The abrupt blocking raised the immediate question of his motivation.
There’s a rumor that Brooklyn recently ended contact with his parents and siblings, supposedly triggered by Victoria liking a photo he posted of a roasted chicken.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been watching what’s trending, and last week, a popular influencer shared a really helpful cooking tutorial with his 16 million Instagram followers. He walked everyone through the process of brining a chicken – a great way to make sure it’s extra juicy and flavorful!
People believe Victoria reacted positively to the post, and this sparked many comments asking Brooklyn to mend things with his family.
People shared heartfelt messages encouraging others to connect with their families. Comments included expressions of support like ‘Victoria liked this post. Yay!!! Family is everything,’ along with reminders to cherish time with parents, such as ‘Go and see your parents, you will regret it later in life,’ and simple pleas to ‘Call your parents.’
Brooklyn reportedly became upset with the reaction to his mother’s public show of support and, as a result, blocked his entire family – including his 14-year-old sister, Harper – on social media.
Oh my gosh, you guys, Brooklyn is going to be spending Christmas in the States! With Nicola, of course, and her family. It’s just… everything is so complicated. I mean, did you see she unfollowed the Beckhams?! It’s totally heartbreaking, but at least he’ll be with her, I guess. I’m just living for every little update!
The Daily Mail reported that David and Victoria Beckham have been asked to limit contact with their son, Brooklyn, and his wife.
A friend of the Peltz Beckhams expressed on Sunday that it would be more festive if the Beckhams would give the couple some space and privacy.
‘The Beckhams started these ‘blocking’ game stories earlier this year and they keep going.
Honestly, I really don’t get all the fuss about who follows who on Instagram or any social media, really. It feels a bit silly to even be talking about it. It’s a bit disappointing, sure, but at the end of the day, things haven’t actually changed, and I don’t think they needed to.
Nicola and Brooklyn are choosing to stay quiet and would like things to calm down. It would be best if the Beckhams stopped reaching out, making public statements, or sharing information with the media, as it’s not helping the situation.
Even Cruz’s attempt to help is seen by Brooklyn and Nicola as another unwelcome intrusion. A friend explained that they’ve asked the Beckhams to give them space and privacy. They believe the activity on social media is a calculated move to influence public opinion, and it’s pushing them further away from their family.
The constant rumors are bothering them, but they’re choosing to ignore the drama and focus on their own lives instead of responding.
People close to the Beckhams have shared that David and Victoria will always love their son, Brooklyn, despite recent difficulties.
They’re heartbroken about the situation and want him to know they’ll always support him.
It seems Brooklyn has definitively rejected them, making it clear there will be no further consideration.
‘It is very clear that this is a sign of his complete estrangement from his family.
This was David and Victoria’s final link to Brooklyn, as he’s stated he no longer wishes to communicate with them. They haven’t spoken in months.

Following him showed he was still loved and that people cared about what he did. They can no longer do that, but it isn’t their fault.
The Instagram fallout comes just days before Christmas.
Brooklyn won’t be with his parents and younger brothers, Romeo and Cruz, or sister Harper for the celebration. He’s staying in the US while the rest of the Beckham family gathers at their £10 million Cotswolds home.
This latest action is a clear indication that communication has completely broken down between them as their family conflict continues to worsen.
Recently, David has seemed to try and reconcile with his son, possibly hoping to resolve their highly publicized family conflict.
The retired soccer player posted an old photo featuring Brooklyn and his two younger brothers, Romeo and Cruz.
Cruz showed his brother some love by posting a cute photo of them together on a Brazilian beach with his brother, Romeo.
Brooklyn was seen wrapping his arm around his youngest brother Cruz as they posed on the beach.
Tensions between Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz, and the Beckham family became clear when they skipped David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in May. Brooklyn also didn’t publicly recognize his father receiving his knighthood in November.
David and Victoria Beckham plan to enjoy part of the holidays at their newly purchased £60 million waterfront home in Miami.
