Victoria Beckham hinted at tensions within her family, seemingly referring to the ongoing disagreement with her son Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, when she discussed a ‘changing dynamic’.
The 51-year-old fashion designer discussed her ‘tight-knit family’ during an appearance on the Call Me Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper, but she didn’t mention her son, Brooklyn, by name.
Victoria explained that she strives to create a comfortable and open environment where her children feel they can talk to her about anything that’s bothering them.
She explained that their family is very close and open with each other. They make sure everyone knows they can talk about anything without judgment, and that creating a safe and supportive environment is a priority.
When asked about how she and David navigate the evolving changes within their family, she emphasized that open communication is key.
We’ve always let our kids be themselves. I’m really happy for them – they’re all unique and have their own interests.

Brooklyn reportedly grew distant from his family, especially after missing his father’s 50th birthday party in May.
In a seeming attempt to reconcile with her son and daughter-in-law, Victoria included video of Brooklyn and Nicola in her documentary series, even though they were not speaking at the time.
During her September 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week, Victoria shared a heartfelt speech about wanting to make her family and team proud.
The video quickly switched between shots of Victoria’s colleagues, while Brooklyn and Nicola were visible chatting with attendees in the background.
As a huge fan, I was so happy to see Victoria’s whole family supporting her! Her husband, David, and their kids – Romeo, Cruz, and little Harper – all had amazing seats right at the front, and the cameras showed them off proudly. It really warmed my heart to see them all there for her.
During the podcast, Victoria spoke up for her children, arguing that it’s unfair to label them as ‘nepo babies’.
Brooklyn, her oldest son, has faced criticism in the past for trying out different careers, including football, modeling, photography, and cooking.
Romeo has explored interests beyond music, including playing football for Brentford B and working as a model. Meanwhile, her son Cruz is also pursuing a singing career, just like her.

Adding to the conversation about ‘nepo babies,’ Victoria stated, ‘Let these kids have opportunities. It’s not their fault they have famous parents, and I believe they deserve a chance.’
We’re really proud of our kids – they’re all good, kind, and hardworking people. They understand that you have to work for what you want and don’t expect things to be handed to them.
Victoria recently spoke about her close family, shortly after her son Brooklyn avoided answering questions about his mother’s new documentary at a New York event.
Victoria celebrated the premiere of her show with close friends and family, then continued the festivities with a party. However, one important person was missing from the event.
Victoria and her close friends celebrated in London, but Brooklyn and Nicola were far away, enjoying the event in Beverly Hills.
You know, hosting the Blue Moon Burger Bash 2.0 at NYC Wine & Food Festival with Rachael Ray was a blast! But I have to admit, I steered clear of any family questions that came my way. I really prefer to keep that part of my life private, and the event was all about the burgers and having fun!
A Daily Mail reporter asked him for his opinion on Victoria’s documentary, in which he and Nicola both participated.
Just seconds after responding to questions on other subjects, Brooklyn abruptly turned away when he heard Victoria’s name and went into the building.

He briefly discussed his work with food, simply stating, ‘It’s good. Just building Cloud23. I love it,’ which refers to his hot sauce company.
Ana Navarro, a friend of David and Victoria Beckham and a panelist on The View, expressed her hope that the couple resolves their issues. Speaking to Daily Mail while judging a burger competition, she said she cares for both of them and believes they have a wonderful family, but she isn’t sure what’s happening between them.
I’m friends with people who are close to the Beckhams, and I’ve been watching Victoria’s documentary on Netflix. I’ve realized she’s a fantastic role model – she manages to be a great mom, a supportive wife, build her own personal brand, and have a successful career. I definitely didn’t give her enough credit before.
In September, Victoria announced she had reached her limit after a long and difficult dispute.
Victoria is said to have drawn a line in the sand and can no longer ‘keep fighting the same fight’.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I just heard the best thing! Apparently, filming her new show was totally freeing for Victoria. She said it made her realize how much love she has in her life, and get this – she really believes she and Brooklyn are meant to be together and will end up back with each other! I knew it! I just knew they were soulmates!
A source close to her said the situation has been emotionally challenging, largely due to her ongoing difficulties with Brooklyn. However, it’s also helped her realize she needs to move past the pain and stop dwelling on the heartbreak. She feels it’s time to accept what happened and focus on moving forward.
They told The Mirror that she believes he’ll return to her eventually, but now isn’t the right moment. She’s using this time to appreciate how much support she receives from her family, and this project has really highlighted that for her.
It was a really emotional experience for her, but ultimately freeing,” a source shared. “It showed her just how loved she is and how much her family has always been there for her, helping her through everything life has thrown her way.
She definitely wants to resolve things with Brooklyn, but she’s tired of repeating the same arguments without making progress.
