Victoria and David Beckham ‘want to draw a line’ under feud with son Brooklyn after extending emotional olive branch on his 27th birthday

Victoria and David Beckham are hoping to resolve the painful conflict with their son, Brooklyn, and move forward.

Even though he made a shocking announcement over six weeks ago, his friends say his parents still love him unconditionally.

The couple publicly signaled a desire for peace by sharing birthday wishes for their oldest son on Instagram Wednesday, as he turned 27.

David Beckham shared a throwback photo of his son Brooklyn and a sweet birthday message for him. He affectionately referred to Brooklyn by his childhood nickname, ‘Buster,’ and also tagged his wife, Victoria, in the post. The message read, ’27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you x’.

Shortly after, Victoria posted the same picture and wished Brooklyn a happy birthday, expressing her love for him. She then shared a photo of herself happily with her son, adding a series of heart emojis.

According to sources, the couple is able to look past the negativity and focus on what truly matters: their unwavering love for their son. They love him completely and without conditions, and that will never change.

‘It’s not just David and Victoria being forced to reach out this way, his three aunts posted too.’

A friend told The Mirror that people genuinely want the best for him and are ready to move past everything because they care about him deeply.

My friend also mentioned how heartbreaking it is that they could only connect with each other through social media.

Romeo, Brooklyn’s 23-year-old brother, shared a childhood photo of the two of them on Wednesday, but didn’t write anything to accompany the picture.

Brooklyn Beckham, now living in the United States with his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, recently shared a lengthy Instagram post detailing his wish to create distance between himself and his family, and included some shocking claims.

In January, he told his social media followers that he believed his parents attempted to ruin his marriage and consistently valued their public image more than their family.

Growing up, I realized my parents always seemed to manage how the media portrayed our family. It was like they were constantly shaping the story everyone else told about us, and honestly, it felt a little controlling.

Brooklyn wasn’t featured in his mother’s new Netflix documentary, and he didn’t attend its premiere. This is different from how he supported his father last year, when he and Nicola both went to the London premiere of his father’s documentary.

Brooklyn and his wife didn’t attend David’s 50th birthday party in May, and they also weren’t present when he finally received his honor at Windsor Castle on November 4th.

Brooklyn Beckham’s younger brother, Cruz, hasn’t said anything on social media about his brother’s birthday. However, Victoria Beckham’s sister, Louise Adams, did post a cute picture of her daughter Libby with a baby Brooklyn.

This isn’t the first time David has tried to reconcile with Brooklyn on Instagram. He previously posted a family photo on New Year’s Eve that included her, with a caption saying, ‘I love you all so much,’ in what seemed like another effort to mend their strained relationship.

He also posted photos with his retired footballer son and his other children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. The last picture showed his wife, Victoria, and all four of their kids, accompanied by the message: ‘You are my life.’

Victoria, 51, quickly re-shared the post, adding a loving heart emoji to the picture of Sir David and Brooklyn.

Brooklyn’s birthday is happening quickly after the Beckhams already celebrated Cruz turning 21 with a series of parties.

David and Victoria Beckham celebrated their son Cruz’s upcoming birthday with a lavish party at The MAINE in Mayfair last month. The celebration included a three-course meal, held before Cruz officially turned twenty on February 20th.

The Beckham family – everyone except Brooklyn – was there, including Romeo, 23, and Harper, 14. Also present were David and Victoria’s parents, Tony and Jackie, plus David’s aunt Joanne and paternal grandmother, Sandra.

During the party, Jackie Apostel, Cruz’s 30-year-old girlfriend, gave a touching speech that moved him to tears. Victoria and Harper were also there.

David Beckham publicly celebrated his son Cruz’s birthday, describing him as kind, thoughtful, and incredibly loyal. The heartfelt message also seemed to hint at a distance between David and his oldest son, Brooklyn.

Oh my gosh, I was SO excited to see that David Beckham – the David Beckham! – was one of the very first people to wish Leo a happy birthday online! It just proves what I’ve always known – Leo is destined for amazing things, and even football legends recognize his talent. Seriously, it made my day seeing that!

David seemed troubled by Brooklyn’s very public decision to distance himself from his family, especially as David shared old videos of Cruz when he was a child.

He wished his son a happy 21st birthday, remarking how quickly he’d grown up. He expressed immense pride in the person his son had become, highlighting his kindness, thoughtfulness, and unwavering loyalty to those he cares about, qualities that make him truly special.
