As a long-time fan of the Spice Girls, I must say it’s quite disheartening to see the rifts and disagreements among these iconic women who once symbolized friendship, girl power, and fun for millions worldwide.

On Monday, Victoria Beckham posted a humorous video showing her husband David putting a miniature elf figurine into a coffee mug while they were getting ready for Christmas.

The 50-year-old fashion designer snapped photos of the retired soccer star, David (age 49), while he was decking out their residence with holiday ornaments.

She asks her husband, “Where is the elf headed?” since he was putting the toy into a coffee cup near the Nespresso machine.

Captioning the Instagram post, Victoria wrote: ‘I promise… no alcohol.’ 

Following the reported incident where Geri Horner allegedly halted a potentially profitable Spice Girls agreement, the potential earnings for all five members amounting to £1 million each were put on hold.

Based on reports from The Sun, the group members Geri, Mel B, Mel C, Victoria, and Emma Bunton were each offered a role in a potential drama series, with an attractive compensation package worth multiple six figures.

It is said that the discussions were progressing smoothly until Geri chose to withdraw from participating in the project.

According to a source, it was planned that five actresses would play the parts of Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty, and Baby.

The undertaking would have granted them approximately £1 million each, with minimal effort required on their part.

However, as the talks intensified, they learned that Geri had raised objections. Essentially, the proposals were abandoned due to this.

However, at this moment, she’s decided to take a step back from engaging with Mel, making a joint performance together highly unlikely.

In a subtle jab, Mel posted a message on social media congratulating her old friend on her 75th birthday along with some photos from their past which may have been considered unfavorable. This could be interpreted as a continuation of earlier remarks Mel made suggesting that Geri had lied about her age in the past.

Behind closed doors, it’s reported that there have been numerous subtle insults and sarcastic remarks directed at Geri, which have greatly angered her. Over the past half year, she has faced challenging circumstances due to allegations of inappropriate conduct by her Formula One team head husband Christian Horner towards a female assistant.

According to the source, they’ve historically had a complicated bond, but things have escalated significantly, leading to an unresolvable impasse. As a result, they’ve decided to call it quits once more.

Mel B’s representative declined to comment. 

Since their chilly encounter at Victoria’s 50th birthday party in April, there has been another round of tensions between them. (or) Lately, they have experienced another instance of disagreements following their frosty reunion at Victoria’s 50th birthday event in April.

The planned interviews would delve deep into the lives and experiences of each woman, discussing their journey through fame as well as their lives following their time in the pop limelight, with their families included in the conversations.

The idea was to tie the documentary to the 30th anniversary of the group being founded in 1994.

Despite everyone else, including Victoria, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma, expressing enthusiasm for the project, Geri remained resistant even after several discussions. They couldn’t convince her otherwise.

To put it in my own words as an over-the-moon fan, this dispute – far from being our first – has undeniably caused a slight chill in the friendship dynamic between Ginger and the rest of the ladies, as reported by Alison Boshoff.

Some think that Geri may have been uncomfortable with the public attention because of the potential controversy surrounding her husband Christian Horner, as his position at the Formula One team Red Bull seemed uncertain following accusations of harassment made by an employee against him.

In March, following an investigation, Christian was found innocent. The person who made the complaint tried to appeal this decision, but their appeal was dismissed in August, leaving Red Bull’s leader free of accusations again.

As a steadfast supporter, I can share that I’ve exercised my right to appeal, and fortunately, it was taken up by an impartial KC in another jurisdiction. The entire appeal process has come to a close, and unfortunately, the outcome of the appeal hasn’t been sustained.

‘Red Bull has agreed with and implemented the findings from the KC. Their internal investigation is now complete.’

A source shared: ‘Geri may have found it uncomfortable to discuss Girl Power given the current situation related to Christian. In reality, she had been hesitant about delving back into those times even before everything was revealed. She simply didn’t feel inclined to reminisce about the enjoyable, wild experiences they shared.’
