Vicky Pattison Releases Deepfake Sex Tape for New Documentary

In a new Channel 4 documentary titled “My Deepfake Sex Tape,” Vicky Pattison herself produced a deepfake adult video.

In the upcoming series set to air next week, the ex-star from Geordie Shore, now 37 years old, has delved deeply into the subject matter to gain a comprehensive grasp of the issue surrounding non-consensual sharing of intimate images.

Deepfakes, a modern form of digital manipulation, have become the newest means for the sexual exploitation of women on the internet. Regrettably, Vicky finds herself ensnared in this swiftly progressing infringement upon personal privacy.

Vicky is creating and sharing a deepfake adult video of herself on social media platforms as a means to study how quickly such content disseminates across the internet and learn about the process of removing such images and videos.

In her personal video, an actor stands in for her and the AI technology places Vicky’s face onto the actor, ensuring that every aspect of its creation was consensual.

The video seems to depict Vicky involved in an intimate situation with a man, initially clad in a bra and subsequently without any top.

Vicky Pattison expressed a strong interest in women’s concerns, growing more troubled as the issue of deepfake pornography continues to spread widely.

‘The latest development in the misuse of women involves sexually explicit deepfake abuse, an issue that I find particularly concerning. After meeting some incredible women who have rebuilt their lives following such trauma, my resolve to support them and demand swift action from government authorities has only grown stronger.’

In relation to the documentary, she chose to publish a simulated sex tape that she herself directed and produced, featuring actors, to maintain consent throughout the entire production process.

For quite some time, I pondered deeply about this choice, considering its lasting impact, and eventually realized that once published, this material could remain accessible on the internet indefinitely.

Even though I acknowledge that nothing I say can truly capture the anguish and shock real victims experience upon encountering such content, my intention is to offer a glimpse into their ordeal.

I’d like the documentary to spark awareness about power disparities and inspire action from our society, legislators, and technology firms to implement tougher safeguards and assistance for those impacted.

My aim is to cultivate understanding and inspire action, all while playing my part in a broader crusade for fairness and transformation. This way, victims will find solace, comprehension, and the strength to reassert their voices and regain control over their lives.

The UK government has just revealed its intention to outlaw the production of sexually explicit deepfakes, following a disturbing discovery made by Channel 4 News in 2024. Their investigation uncovered that close to 4000 celebrities have fallen prey to deepfake pornography.

However, it’s important to note that this issue isn’t exclusive to public figures; Vicky will interact with ordinary women as well, who have fallen victim to non-consensual sharing of intimate images. Unfortunately, many of these victims are often exploited by acquaintances, friends, family members, or those closest to them.

Phil Mount, as creative director at Potato, expressed that we feel incredibly fortunate to contribute to the narration of this bold and distressing journey into the sinister aspects of technological progression.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly advancing, offering exciting new possibilities as well as sometimes alarming outcomes.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but gush about how Vicky Pattison and the brave souls who’ve shared their stories for this project have truly illuminated a subject that’s rapidly becoming a hot topic of conversation.

‘It’s our aim that this documentary not just informs, but also ignites engaging conversations about the moral dilemmas presented in today’s world.’

Announcement by Vicky Pattison: You can catch my deepfake video, a simulated production, airing on Channel 4 at 10pm on January 28th (Tuesday). It will be available for viewing and streaming then.
