Vicky Pattison has left fans shocked by posting a video on social media that shows her dog licking the inside of her mouth, which some viewers find disturbing.
On Friday, the ex-star of Geordie Shore, now 37 years old, posted a video clip titled “Walkies” on Instagram in conjunction with a new dog food company named Butternut Box.
In the video, she is observed seated on an outdoor bench with a friend, as Max, the dog, approaches and starts licking her face.
‘I can’t help it,’ Vicky said.
‘You are Gammy,’ the friend said to the reality star as she had her mouth wide open.
Vicky responded: ‘I’m so sorry,’ while covering her mouth with both hands.
Vicky excitedly exclaimed “Yes!” after her friend confessed, “I do the same thing,” making her extremely happy.
She added: ‘And like, you know it makes them happy,’ before leaning back in for another kiss.
After reading the post, many fans expressed their opinions on Vicky’s loving gesture, labeling it as being “unhygienic.
‘That’s just nasty. And yet, you proceed to kiss your loved ones afterwards, potentially transferring germs.’
‘We all love dogs but that’s creepy’,
‘This is so funny, mouth open is crazy though’,
‘Too far’,
‘That’s disgusting.’
A week has passed since it emerged that Vick was announced as the eleventh celebrity contestant for the 2025 season of Strictly Come Dancing.
During a live broadcast on ITV’s This Morning, the true identity of the previous Geordie Shore cast member was ultimately unveiled.
As she unveiled herself to the audience at home, she forcefully pushed her way through a shimmering wall of paper adorned with the Strictly logo, making a grand entrance into the studio.
She playfully commented, “I don’t expect much from my dancing skills, as I’m more of a drinker rather than a dancer – I’m more like the tipsy auntie on the dance floor.
Vicky openly acknowledged that there were no illusions within her regarding taking home the Glitterball Trophy in the end. However, she was adamant that she didn’t believe she would be the winner.
Despite this, she pledged to put in maximum effort into the series and commit fully, expressing both her enthusiasm and apprehension at joining the widely acclaimed program.
‘I am terrified, can you tell?’ she told hosts Emma Willis and Craig Doyle.
In her statement, Vicky expressed her excitement by saying: “I’m thrilled to be included in the cast of Strictly Come Dancing for this year… yet, it would be dishonest not to admit that I’m also quite nervous. After all, dancing isn’t my forte!
Indeed, this is a fantastic chance for me to venture beyond my usual boundaries and test myself in an entirely novel fashion. I sincerely hope that I won’t embarrass myself excessively!
It has been frequently speculated that Vicky might be a part of the upcoming show, as she reportedly impressed producers by enthusiastically supporting her friend Pete Wicks in the audience during last year’s season.
I excitedly expressed my joy upon seeing Vicky following in my footsteps, and I took to Instagram to applaud her achievements after hearing the exciting news.
Instead of sharing the photo from their wedding, he wrote on it: “You’re doing great.
In the year 2011, Vicky gained widespread recognition as a cast member of MTV’s reality show Geordie Shore, earning notoriety for her lively party scenes and romantic encounters displayed on television.
Later on, Vicky was titled as the Queen of the Jungle in I’m A Celebrity in 2015, an achievement she now refers to as her most remarkable feat.
The previous year, the celebrity from Newcastle openly expressed a willingness to participate in Strictly Come Dancing, yet acknowledged that dancing isn’t one of her skills she excels at.
She shared with the media outlet: “Upon learning that Pete had done something, I immediately reached out to him to make sure he was okay.
We’re more the type to hang back, enjoy some drinks, and share a few laughs, rather than being in the thick of the dancing crowd.
She added that as she’s got older, she knows she should be pushing herself out of her comfort zone.
