Vicky Pattison is getting married TODAY! Star shares throwback snap of her first date with Ercan Ramadan while the groom-to-be stocks up on booze ahead of their legal ceremony
As I read through Vicky’s heartfelt post, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of empathy and understanding for her struggle with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). Her words resonated with me, as I too have experienced the frustration and disappointment that comes with PMDD, especially when it seems to strike during life’s most significant moments.
Vicky Pattison posted an affectionate flashback photo from her initial date with Ercan Ramadan, ahead of their upcoming wedding this coming Saturday.
36-year-old fan favorite from Geordie Shore is preparing to wed 30-year-old internet personality, who was previously a builder, in a grand wedding at Marylebone Town Hall this coming weekend. This event marks the UK portion of their marriage ceremonies.
Before committing to marry him, Vicky found herself reminiscing, as her thoughts drifted back to the day they first crossed paths. The celebrity even took to Instagram to mention that, although she had been a bit reluctant about their initial meeting, it didn’t take long for her to realize he was ‘the one’.
The picture we’re discussing shows Vicky, radiant in a scarlet dress, exchanging laughter with the elegant Ercan. It appears that Ercan had been preparing for their wedding festivities earlier on Friday by buying alcohol and supplies from a wholesaler.
In her affectionate post, she wrote: “Our initial outing… I thought it fitting to share this photo from our very first date, placing it beside the image from our first day as husband and wife.”
Despite feeling uncertain due to my emotional state and questioning whether it was appropriate to date again, given my current feelings of incompleteness, I found myself drawn to Ercan. This intrigue overpowered my reservations, leading me to decide to go on the date.
On our date, we conversed, shared laughter, and had an exceptional first encounter that seemed as if we’d been acquainted for years. It wasn’t merely about enjoying each other’s company or having strong feelings towards him; there was also a sense of kindness present, which made me feel secure and comfortable.
Well, let me rephrase that for you: “In any case, I seem to recall him heading off to use the restroom. Then, I sent a message to my friends in our group chat exclaiming, ‘Guys, he’s the one! Time to get a hat!'”
Six years have passed since then, and here we are… From our very first meeting, I sensed that I would become your wife, @erc_ram. Today, I will join you at the altar, my dear… Look for the woman dressed in white, as that will be me.
Vicky received numerous encouraging messages from fans on her special day, expressing their hopes for her success.
The popular television personality likewise posted a glimpse on her personal residence’s account, Oaks House, of the final touches being applied to her upcoming wedding.
Vicky shared a photo on social media showing a large blackboard decorated with white flowers, displaying both her name and Ercan’s, highlighting their partnership.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I couldn’t help but share a sneak peek of the exquisite, personalized confetti envelopes that added a touch of elegance to the occasion. Moreover, I was simply smitten by the charming black and white sugar cookies adorned with our initials, making for an unforgettable addition to the event.
On Friday, Ercan was all set for the party mood, filling his car with an array of various drinks, mostly alcoholic.
The well-known figure from social media was spotted walking with a friend, wheeling a bulky cart full of goods from a wholesaler and heading towards their car.
In the mix were prosecco, beer, and cans of ready-made cocktails, suggesting that they, along with Vicky, intended to have a lively time celebrating with their guests following their marriage ceremony.
In a casual outfit featuring a black zip-up top and grey joggers, Ercan appeared focused as he checked items off his list in preparation for the upcoming wedding.
Vicky is set to get married in front of 150 guests, after which she’ll depart for a grand wedding ceremony in Puglia, Italy. This special event will be broadcasted on Channel 4 as part of their new series titled “Vicky Pattison: Wedding Destination”.
2015’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! champion, crowned as the ‘Queen of the Jungle,’ decided to return early from her romantic honeymoon in Italy to commence shooting for a fresh dating series instead.
On a particularly emotional Friday, I found myself scrolling through Instagram, my heart pounding with anticipation, only to discover that the radiant Vicky had confessed her feelings of deep sadness and overwhelming anxiety, mere hours before her eagerly awaited nuptials.
Vicky shared details about how her Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PDD), a more intense form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), is impacting the lead-up to her significant event.
She posted pictures, some of which were selfies taken while she was wearing just her undergarments and looking puffed up, as well as emotional selfies where she was seen shedding tears.
Vicky wrote a lengthy caption with the post, and it began: ‘PMDD and life’s significant moments..’
She added: ‘Many may find this hard to understand, others might perceive it as intense, and if it doesn’t strike a chord with you in any way, feel free to move on. This message isn’t intended for all.’
Approximately five percent of women experience PMDD, but experts believe that the true number could be significantly higher because many women are incorrectly diagnosed, overlooked, or even gaslit into believing they’re overreacting and labeled as hysterical.
If you find yourself not feeling like yourself during the luteal phase (the time leading up to your period) approximately once every five cycles, or if this happens for about a week to 10 days each month, then this article is intended for you.
In the days leading up to my wedding, I didn’t feel like myself – contrary to what one might expect, I was not joyful or exhilarated. Instead, I grappled with feelings of depression, anxiety, and self-criticism. I experienced a deep-seated feminine anger, hopelessness, and fatigue.
‘PMDP functions by establishing a strong foundation of good habits, positive emotions, and a warm demeanor, only for it to be washed away, leaving behind feelings of depression, anger, hopefulness, and anxiety. As the tide retreats, you start rebuilding, only to be knocked down again when another wave comes crashing in.’
As someone who has experienced premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), I find it incredibly frustrating that my period always seems to coincide with important events or holidays. It’s as if the universe is conspiring against me, timing my most significant moments with the onset of my PMDD symptoms.
‘We can’t control when that wave crashes.
Many women have shared with me that PMDD has taken away numerous aspects of their lives… It has surfaced during significant events like birthdays, graduations, job interviews, and hindered them from being the mothers they aspired to be on several occasions. Moreover, it has put a strain on relationships and deprived them of moments that should have been filled with joy.
As an ardent admirer, I yearn for a jubilant finale to this narrative, one where I could exclaim, “However, I’ve discovered a magical elixir, and now I’m on cloud nine!” Regrettably, that’s not the case. To those grappling with their struggles, let me assure you, you are seen, understood, and my heart aches for you. My sincere apologies for any solace I cannot provide in this moment.
‘But you know, as powerful as those thoughts & hormones can be.
Vicky went on in her comments: “However intense those feelings and hormones may be, they won’t spoil this moment for me. I might turn out to be a bit pricklier than expected as a bride – picture less Cinderella and more Ursula the sea witch – but who cares?!”
‘That floaty old hag deserves her happily too! I mean, maybe she was just misunderstood anyway
Could it be possible that she was experiencing Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)? This condition might provide a significant explanation for her behavior. What has been incredibly beneficial throughout this experience for me has been educating my friends and family about what I am experiencing, so they can better understand and support me during this time.
If you find yourself battling with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and are terrified of the person it transforms you into, fearing others won’t comprehend your emotions – educate them by sharing your feelings and explaining their intensity.
Despite the fact that those defining moments in my life may not have turned out exactly as I envisioned or desired, having people by my side who genuinely care, offer support, and strive to comprehend me has made a world of difference. Their presence has made those challenging times a little less daunting, and their love and understanding has been a guiding light in the darkest of moments. Love to all of you for being such incredible pillars of strength in my life.
