Vick Hope Shares Fun Photos from Radio 1’s Big Weekend Before Maternity Leave with Calvin Harris!

Vick Hope has shared snaps from her last hurrah at Radio 1 before she heads off on maternity leave.

At Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool, the presenter, aged 35 and expecting her first child with DJ Calvin Harris, 41, delivered her presentation with high spirits. This came after she hosted her final show on the station a few days prior.

She posted a collection of pictures that depicted her enjoying time with co-presenter Greg James, aged 39, along with other BBC Radio 1 crew members.

Over the course of the weekend, Vick immersed himself in all aspects of the festival, eventually stepping onto the stage to solicit baby name ideas from the crowd of music enthusiasts.

She captioned the snaps: ‘Love Laugh Liverpool

Additionally, Vick displayed a diverse collection of outfits for festivals in the photos, as she announced her pregnancy merely a week ago.

She donned multiple stylish yet casual ensembles, featuring a snug brown jacket and a form-fitting mini-dress that accentuated her expanding belly.

However, she chose a flowing tie-dye gown which accentuated her pregnancy as she walked onto the stage.

On Sunday, during their Premier League match against Everton, the presenter donned a football jersey of her home team, Newcastle United, as a symbol of her local pride.

The second festival attire featured a set of long ankle boots and a snug, intricately patterned brown dress.

Following the announcement of her pregnancy, Vick was flooded with support from the Radio 1 team.

On air, Jamie Laing, who is 36 years old and her co-presenter, expressed that she would be an exceptional mother.

Jamie expressed: ‘You are truly a fantastic friend, a remarkable individual, and I have no doubt that you will make an exceptional mother.’

Vick and Calvin’s newborn child will begin life in an intriguing manner, as their family owns multiple properties, such as a farm in Ibiza and a 10-acre property in the Cotswolds.

It’s said that the pair are currently constructing a grand house on their Cotswolds property, which will likely serve as their primary home.

In September 2023, the pair got married, but they’ve only recently revealed their upcoming childbirth. They preferred to maintain a low profile regarding their relationship.

Vick stressed on air that she didn’t want to make a big deal out of her pregnancy.

She mentioned casually: “I’ve noticed that people have been asking if I’ll make an announcement. However, let me clarify, I’m not a monarch.

To put it frankly, matters that are personal or private tend to pose challenges for me. Sharing a tale like the one about consuming a kebab from a trash can, however, is something I’m comfortable with.

However, I have always drawn a boundary when it comes to sharing, as I prefer to savor these moments in solitude and tranquility.
