
iGaming enthusiasts in the Philippines finally get a new home on YGS Live.
Julius Mariano, known online as “Banoobs,” a popular gaming streamer and esports figure in the Philippines, has launched YGS Live. This new platform will showcase content featuring games officially licensed by PAGCOR.
Banoobs explained that his vision for YGS Live is to help Filipino streamers and creators thrive, work together, and responsibly develop the iGaming industry, ultimately positioning the Philippines as a top player on the world stage.
He confirmed the platform will only offer games officially approved and licensed by PAGCOR, the Philippine government agency that oversees casinos and gaming.
We aim for YGS Live to be more than just entertainment – we want it to be educational too, fostering a more responsible and positive iGaming environment for everyone involved.

Banoobs Kicks Off Battle of the Streamers, a new iGaming Showdown on YGS Live
Alongside the launch of YGS Live, Banoobs announced “Battle of the Streamers,” a competition for Filipino iGaming personalities. Streamers and influencers will battle it out for a PHP 11 million prize pool (approximately US$186,000).
The program will feature popular iGaming personalities like Hypebits, AkosiDogie, BULLDOG, Foreigngerms, ChooxTV, and AD BEAT.
To keep viewers entertained, the program will also give away around PHP 3 million worth of prizes.
The Battle of the Streamers began on November 15th and will continue every Saturday, culminating in a final event in January 2026. All competitions will take place at City of Dreams Manila.
Who is Banoobs?
Banoobs is a well-known veteran in the Philippine esports scene. He previously collaborated with leading organizations like Mineski, Ampverse, and Blacklist International. He’s highly respected as one of the first to champion esports as a viable career path in the Philippines.
Banoobs has assisted numerous Filipino esports athletes in obtaining visas to compete in international tournaments. A notable example is TNC Pro Team, who famously defeated the heavily favored team OG at The International 2016, creating one of the biggest upsets in Dota 2 history.
