You can get a head start on Version 2.1 by downloading it beforehand, following the guidelines provided. Once the maintenance period for the update is over, this will enable you to jump into the game more quickly.

The pre-download file is about 8 GB.
● Mobile (Android and iOS)
The pre-download file is about 5 GB.
● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro
The pre-download file is about 14 GB.
● Xbox
The pre-download file is about 20 GB.
※ The Voice Pack(s) installed on the client will affect the space required for the pre-download.
[How to Pre-Download]
● PC
In simpler terms, locate the HoYoPlay Launcher, and you’ll notice a “Pre-Download” symbol appearing beside the “Play Now” button. Go ahead and click on that symbol to initiate the download process.
※ PC users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.
● Mobile (Android and iOS)
Go ahead and launch the game, then touch the “Pre-Download Resources” button located at the lower right part of your screen to begin the download process.
As a keen gamer on the go, remember that you won’t be able to jump into the action right away when there’s a pre-download for a game. Make sure to schedule some time to get the game downloaded before it’s time to play, so you can dive in without any delay!
● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro
Once you’ve initiated Zenless Zone Zero, provided there’s ample storage left on your device, it will commence the pre-download of Zenless Zone Zero at an appointed timeframe without further action required from you.
※ PS5™ or PS5™ Pro users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.
● Xbox
Once you’ve initiated Zenless Zone Zero, given there’s ample storage on your device, it will autonomously initiate the pre-download of Zenless Zone Zero after a specified duration.
Instead of directly downloading Zenless Zone Zero, you could use a proxy to pre-load the game through these steps: Navigate to your Xbox System’s main screen > Click on ‘My games & apps’ > Select ‘Manage’ > Then go to the ‘Updates’ section.
※ Xbox users can continue playing the game during the pre-download.
Additionally, our development team plans to carry out maintenance on the software update for the game. This means that during this period, you won’t be able to access the game. Please keep an eye out for updates regarding the game upgrade.

[Version Update Compensation]
Server Update Compensation: Polychrome ×300
Eligibility for Server Update Compensation: Players who achieve Inter-Knot Level 4 prior to July 16, 2025, 6:00 AM (UTC+8) qualify.
After the server update is finished, you’ll receive your update compensation through an in-game email. Make sure to claim it before the end of Version 2.1.
[How to Update]
When the update maintenance begins, Proxies should refer to the in-game guidelines for updating their own games accordingly.
● PC
Exit the game, restart, then select update.
● Android
After entering the game, follow the in-game pop-up instructions to complete the update.
● iOS
Go to the App Store and select update.
● PS5™ or PS5™ Pro
Navigate to the PS5 home screen, select Zenless Zone Zero, press and hold the options button on your control pad, then verify if there are any updates available.
● Xbox
On your Xbox, navigate to the dashboard > Locate ‘My games & apps’ section > Choose ‘Manage’ > Find ‘Zenless Zone Zero’ under the ‘Updates’ tab and confirm the update process.
