Vernon Kay parties hard at the BRITs as he hits the dancefloor with a cocktail in hand and snaps photos with the Gallaghers

The BRIT Awards is the UK’s biggest music night, where stars celebrate and party late into the night.

Vernon Kay was one of the celebrities enjoying the after-parties following the BRIT Awards 2026 in Manchester on Saturday night.

The 51-year-old TV personality enjoyed a night out, dancing with a drink and even taking pictures with the Gallagher brothers.

Vernon looked sharp in a black leather jacket while posing for a photo with Gene Gallagher, the son of Liam and Nicole Appleton.

As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you the energy was incredible at the Sony Music BRITs Afterparty! It was held at the exclusive Soho House – honestly, it’s where you really get a taste of the VIP life, and this particular star was absolutely living it up.

Vernon, 24, struck a playful pose with Gene before returning to the dance floor, drink in hand.

The BRIT Awards were held at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena for the first time ever on Saturday, marking the 46th year of the event.

Olivia Dean had a fantastic night, winning all four awards she was up for!

The British singer and songwriter, 26, won Best Artist, Best Album, Best Song and Best Pop Act.

Olivia received two nominations for Song of the Year: one for her single “Man I Need,” and another for “Rein Me In,” a collaboration with Sam Fender, which ultimately won the award.

Okay, seriously, Olivia is a GENIUS! I was losing it when her song ‘Man I Need’ and her album ‘The Art Of Loving’ BOTH hit number one – in the SAME WEEK! Can you believe it? She’s the first woman to do that in the UK since Adele back in 2021! I knew she was special, and now everyone else does too. 2025 is officially her year!

It was a completely different night for Lily Allen who didn’t take home any awards.

Lily Allen’s fifth album, West End Girl, was a huge success last year, topping the charts. However, she didn’t win any of the major awards – Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, or Best Pop Act – losing out to Miss Dean in each category.

The 40-year-old singer’s new album explores the breakdown of her marriage to David Harbour, 50, of ‘Stranger Things,’ and reveals details about a reported affair he had with someone named Madeline during their relationship.

Although nominated for a BRIT Award eight times before, the singer of ‘Not Fair’ has only won once and wasn’t present at this year’s event.

Noel Gallagher, the 58-year-old musician from Manchester, received the Songwriter of the Year award this year. This recognition comes after he rejoined his brother Liam for a hugely successful reunion tour with their band, Oasis.

Sharon Osbourne, age 73, accepted an award on stage for her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, who received the BRITs Lifetime Achievement Award. He was unable to attend, so Sharon accepted on his behalf.

With support from her daughter Kelly, 41, the TV personality delivered a touching speech, describing her partner as a uniquely talented, unpredictable, and truly artistic individual.

Starting from humble beginnings in a working-class area of Birmingham, he became a hugely famous and admired musician. He was always striving to improve and reach his full potential.

He was a fascinating paradox – incredibly arrogant yet surprisingly down-to-earth. Despite his worldwide fame, Ozzy always remained a true rock star at heart. He never forgot his roots and was immensely proud of being a working-class man from Birmingham, England, no matter where life took him.

The show ended with an incredible all-star rock tribute – it was a really moving way to honor Ozzy, who we lost last July. As a longtime fan, it meant the world to me to see so many artists come together to celebrate his life and music.

As a longtime fan of great music and performance, I have to say this rendition of ‘No More Tears’ was truly something special. It wasn’t just any performance – Sharon Osbourne personally put it together, drawing from the iconic title track of Ozzy’s massively successful 1991 album. It felt really intimate and carefully crafted, and you could tell how much thought went into it.

The show included musicians who’ve played with Ozzy Osbourne throughout his career – Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos, and Zakk Wylde. Robbie Williams led the performance, having been personally invited by Sharon Osbourne as a longtime fan and friend of the family.

As a lifestyle observer, I’ve been following Lola Young’s journey, and it’s so inspiring to see her recognized! After a bit of a challenging period, the 24-year-old – who was up for five awards – rightfully earned the Breakthrough Artist award. It’s a testament to her talent and resilience, and I predict we’ll be seeing a lot more of her!

This new release marks her return to music after a break, following worries about her health when she fainted during a performance in New York back in September.

She ended her tour early to focus on her mental health, but recently returned to music and accepted an award at a performance last night.

Dave, a 27-year-old British rapper, recently won a Hip Hop award following the release of his third album, ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp’, late last year.

Fred Again.. (Fred Gibson), Skepta, and PlaqueBoyMax won the award for Dance, and Sam Fender was named Best Rock artist.

Mark Ronson, the acclaimed 50-year-old musician and producer with ten Grammy Awards, was honored with the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award and then performed live.

Oh my gosh, SAULT actually won the R&B award! I knew they would, they’re just incredible. And Jacob Alon snagged the Critics Choice award, which he totally deserved, his work is so unique. But honestly, the best news of the night? PinkPantheress being named Producer of the Year! I’ve been saying for ages she’s a genius, and everyone is finally recognizing it! I’m so happy for all of them, but especially PinkPantheress!

I was absolutely thrilled at the awards show! Geese totally deserved Best International Group, and Rosalia was incredible taking home Best International Artist. But honestly, one of the biggest highlights was ROSE and Bruno Mars winning International Song of the Year – that track is amazing and I’ve had it on repeat!

Rosé and Bruno Mars won International Song of the Year for their collaboration, APT. Rosé was present at the awards ceremony to accept the award.

Wolf Alice took home the Group of the Year award thanks to the popularity of their fourth album, The Clearing.

Singer Ellie Roswell said the band Wolf Alice wants to dedicate the award to everyone who supported them when they were first starting out.

American rock band Geese won International Group of the Year, their first BRIT award.

Rosalía, the popular Spanish singer, was named International Artist of the Year, triumphing over fellow nominees Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and Lady Gaga.

As a huge fan, I was absolutely thrilled to see Harry Styles perform live! It was incredible knowing he’d be dropping his new album, ‘Kiss All The Time, Disco, Occasionally,’ just a week later – the energy was amazing!

Raye, a seven-time BRIT Award winner, performed her popular song “Where Is My Husband,” which was up for Song of the Year.

Performers included Wolf Alice, ROSALIA, Alex Warren, SOMBR, RAYE, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI, and the vocalists from HUNTR/X, the popular KPop group featured in the Netflix series, KPop Demon Hunters.
