Venom: Let There Be Carnage is on TV tonight

As a long-time comic book enthusiast and cinema aficionado with a soft spot for antiheroes, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement as Venom: The Last Dance graces our screens this week! After eagerly devouring every morsel of Venom lore since the early 90s, it’s safe to say that I’ve had my share of ups and downs in the world of Spider-Man’s symbiotic counterpart.

This week, the movie titled “Venom: The Last Dance” hits theatres! If you’d like to get acquainted with the entire series beforehand, we’ve got you covered.

Tonight, October 22nd, catch “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” on Film4 at 9 pm. It’s a sequel to the movie “Venom,” which aired on Film4 yesterday, October 21st.

If you can’t catch the sequel tonight, don’t fret because it will be accessible for free on Channel 4’s streaming platform after its broadcast. By the way, Venom is already up on their streaming service if you fancy a double feature.

Both movies will be available to watch for the next 28 days on Channel 4’s streaming service.

In “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” Eddie Brock (played by Tom Hardy) encounters more trouble than expected during an interview with serial killer Cletus Kasady. Unknowingly, this encounter allows Carnage to possess Kasady, leading to a thrilling battle between the two.

In the continuation, it also skillfully incorporates an unexpected Marvel Cinematic Universe collaboration within its end credits, a thread that was further developed in “Spider-Man: No Way Home.

It’s highly recommended that you re-familiarize yourself with the continuation before watching “Venom: The Last Dance“, as the film starts where the second part left off, with Eddie and Venom in hiding.

In the latest instalment, I find myself once again donning the role of Eddie Brock, better known as Venom. This time around, we welcome some fresh faces to the set, including the talented Juno Temple and the phenomenal Chiwetel Ejiofor. Can’t wait to see what they bring to the story!

Temple highly values Hardy and his relationship with the character Venom. It seems deeply personal for him, and he takes it seriously. I doubt any other actor could fill those shoes as well as Hardy.

Tonight, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” is set to premiere on Film4 at 9pm. Shortly after the television broadcast, it will also become available for streaming on Channel 4’s digital platform.
