Overview
- B2 SR Wind Supporter with unconventional support abilities, especially for Little Mermaid. (Siren)
- Incredible Wind DPS ability if built for it, but would love B3 allies to support her DPS, flipping team meta on its head.
- Can be played On-burst or Off-burst effectively with the right team setup.
- Desireable for Wind-weak bosses and raids in any context. (Solo, Co-Op, Union)
Should You Pull?
She’s a really strong Wind damage dealer, no matter the situation. Even with a minimal build, she can significantly boost your team’s Wind damage against bosses in activities like Union Raids, co-op raids, and Anomaly Intercept. Considering the limited-time units coming with the Lycoris Recoil collaboration, Velvet offers a long-term advantage, as she’ll eventually be consistently available through the Wishlist, along with her necessary upgrade materials.
If you need a significant boost to your Wind damage in raids, or if your Wind team is weak, she’s worth considering. Otherwise, it’s okay to skip her for now and try to get her later. She’s a strong unit, but she’s best used against enemies weak to Wind, so if you don’t need that specific advantage, you can hold off for now.
Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Velvet is a powerful Support unit who excels at boosting her team’s damage. While her direct attack buff isn’t the strongest, she significantly increases the Charge Damage dealt by all allies. This is especially valuable for certain Nikkes who can take full advantage of the Charge Damage boost, making her a unique and effective support option.
When her Burst ability is active, she excels as a damage dealer, as it transforms her sniper rifle into a high-powered machine gun with a significant bonus effect tied to her skill. However, because her Burst doesn’t allow for quick re-entry, and the most powerful buffs are typically applied during Burst II, her Burst III receives fewer benefits. Therefore, using her Burst should focus on maximizing damage output, with teammates using their Burst III abilities to further enhance her damage.
I’m really excited about this character! She’s unique because of how she uses ammo. Basically, she goes through ammo way faster than anyone else, and that actually works really well with another character, Siren, who gets stronger when units use up their ammo. It’s a cool little combo, and I can’t wait to see how it plays out!

Skill 1: Sticky Fingers
This ability activates at the beginning of battle and when entering Burst Stage 2. It’s called Bullet Snatch and allows the character to steal enemy bullets, storing them in her ammo pouch. This removes 5% of all enemy bullets and fills her pouch with up to 6000 rounds – this effect happens continuously and can’t be stopped.
Additionally, when attacking with a Full Charge outside of Full Burst mode, the character gains a boost by using rounds from her ammo pouch. This consumes 100 rounds and increases both her ATK and Attack Damage by 30.5% for 3 seconds.
Velvet introduces a special ability called Ammo Pouch. It doesn’t give her endless real ammo, but it does count as ammo when certain skills check how much has been used. This is mainly helpful for the Nikke Siren, whose abilities get stronger based on total ammo spent by the team. While other Nikkes don’t currently benefit much from this, Siren is powerful enough that pairing her with Velvet is a good strategy when facing enemies weak to Wind attacks.

You can still see how much ammunition she has displayed on her crosshair and next to her character’s picture when you’re not directly looking at her.
When a fight begins, Velvet automatically loads her weapon with 6000 virtual bullets. She also has a chance to steal a small amount of an enemy player’s maximum ammo – up to 5%. This ammo steal only works in player-versus-player (PvP) combat, as enemies in other modes don’t use ammo. Velvet repeats both of these actions when she enters her more powerful Burst Stage 2, so by skillfully building up her burst meter, she can essentially have unlimited ammo.
Outside of her Full Burst mode, firing a fully charged shot gives her a powerful, but short-lived, buff and consumes 100 bullets. While the buff is strong, its brief duration limits its usefulness for sustained damage. It doesn’t synergize well with a starting burst attack. However, using 100 bullets helps activate abilities for her teammate Siren, specifically speeding up Siren’s burst generation and increasing her overall damage output.
Skill 2: Bullets of Love
This ability activates during Full Burst when using a fully charged attack. It uses ammo from your pouch to boost your allies. First, it consumes 300 rounds of ammo from your pouch and then increases the ATK of all allies by 25.2% of your own ATK for 3 seconds. It also increases charge damage for all allies by 100.8% for 3 seconds.
After landing 50 normal attacks during Full Burst, the ability activates again. This time, it consumes 300 rounds of ammo and increases your attack damage by 15.03% for 5 seconds. Finally, it deals an additional 400.92% of your final ATK as damage to the target.
Velvet’s Skill 2 has two different effects depending on how it’s used. Using it outside of her burst activates one effect, while using it during her burst activates a different one. If she enters Full Burst without using her burst first, each charge gained will boost the caster attack and charge damage of her allies. However, if she enters Full Burst after using her burst, she transforms into a powerful wind damage dealer with a strong machine gun.
The attack boost for casters is decent, but the boost to charge damage is really good. While increasing charge damage isn’t usually the most effective way to improve the damage of special and rapid launchers, it significantly adds to their already high damage multipliers (typically around 250%). Getting this much charge damage easily provides about a 40% increase to their regular attacks, if you’re not already getting charge damage from other sources. (A 350% boost over 250% equals a 1.4x multiplier).
Charge Damage only increases damage from regular attacks, not extra effects triggered by fully charged attacks. This means heroes like Cinderella, Bready, and Maiden: Ice Rose, who rely on those extra effects for their main damage output, won’t get as much benefit from Velvet’s Charge Damage boost. Similarly, heroes who focus on building their own Charge Damage, like Snow White, Ada, and Emilia, also won’t see a significant improvement.
Velvet’s second skill, S2, becomes more powerful when she uses her Burst ability. Specifically, after firing 50 bullets, the 50th bullet deals significant damage to enemies and also slightly increases Velvet’s attack power. Because she uses a machine gun with a large ammo capacity (999 bullets) and a fast firing rate (60 bullets per second, especially with firing adjustments enabled), this attack power boost is almost always active. This constant buff works well with both the damage effect and her overall burst damage.
Whether she successfully uses her special attack or not, during Full Burst Time, Siren uses 300 ammo from her pouch if certain conditions are met by either of her skills. Outside of this mode, each fully charged shot uses ammo as normal. However, when Full Burst is active, she consumes 50 bullets worth of ammo with every 50 shots fired. This increased ammo usage is a significant benefit for Siren, no matter how a player chooses to play her.
Velvet’s default charge time means she uses ammo very quickly when set to autoplay – around 300 bullets every 1.3 seconds, factoring in time to ‘reload’ between shots. This rate of fire is comparable to running almost five machine guns simultaneously for Siren’s damage bonus, significantly increasing her overall damage output. When her Burst ability is active and the game runs at a stable 60 frames per second, Velvet effectively functions as seven machine guns for Siren, considering both her virtual and actual ammo usage.
Increasing Charge Speed and Max Ammo with Overload mods helps Velvet use her off-burst abilities more efficiently and allows for quicker, manual aiming, avoiding the slower ‘cover’ animation.
Normally, using Burst mode with Siren quickly uses up ammunition, and this is made worse by performance issues. Even with ‘Firing Adjustment’ enabled, I often fail to get the final shot off because the game’s frame rate is unstable.
Note on ammo consumption for Burst Active
Velvet’s Full Burst only lasts 10 seconds, making it impossible for her to use her S2 skill 12 times in MG mode. Even if you activate her Burst as quickly as possible, a small fraction of a second is lost at the start, leaving her with only about 9.9 seconds of actual Burst time.
For a PC consistently running at 60 frames per second, you can realistically trigger the S2 ability a maximum of 11 times for every use of Burst, though reaching that exact number is difficult. Getting at least 10 activations is perfectly fine, and thankfully, even PCs running at 30 FPS can achieve this with the Firing Adjustment feature turned on.
Burst: Perfect Execution
Cooldown: 20 seconds.
This ability impacts the user directly. It swaps the currently equipped weapon and deals damage equal to 7% of the user’s final Attack stat. This effect lasts for 10 seconds, and also increases attack damage by 34.52% for the same duration.
When Velvet uses her Burst ability, she immediately trades her Sniper Rifle for a powerful Machine Gun loaded with 999 bullets. This Machine Gun fires at its fastest rate, and Velvet also gets a significant damage boost. Although she doesn’t get unlimited ammo—which would have been overpowered, especially with the Miranda treasure—her natural damage output is already so high that unlimited ammo would have made her incredibly strong.
On paper, this machine gun boasts a very high attack power – 7%, making it one of the strongest available. That’s about a 25% increase compared to the standard 5.57% of other machine guns. Even considering that Supporters generally have lower base attack stats, this machine gun still outperforms an Attacker’s standard machine gun. Best of all, it fires at its fastest rate immediately, doesn’t require ammo, and doesn’t need to warm up, giving you all the benefits of a powerful machine gun without any of the usual drawbacks.
Velvet’s Burst ability automatically loads her machine gun with a huge amount of ammo, meaning she doesn’t need to rely on ammo pickups when she’s focusing on dealing damage. This, along with a damage boost that triggers every 50 bullets, a short cooldown, and attack damage increases from her Burst and Skill 2, makes her a remarkably strong damage dealer for a B2 unit. Overall, her Burst weapon is incredibly effective, easily putting her among the best DPS options currently available – even compared to those who use Pilgrim Wind.
Velvet’s main problem is that using her Burst ability comes at a cost. Currently, the biggest team-boosting effects come from characters positioned in the B2 slot. When Velvet uses her Burst, those B2 characters can’t reach their full damage potential. This is because Velvet’s Burst focuses entirely on her own damage, and she doesn’t provide her team-boosting damage buff while Bursting. Therefore, Velvet should only use her Burst when she really needs to deal damage herself.
Campaign
Velvet can be a useful support unit during a campaign if your team includes allies who benefit from the extra damage she provides when not actively attacking, or if you want to boost the damage output of Siren. However, it’s important to remember that not all units gain the same advantage from her damage buff – some will benefit much more than others.
When Nayuta uses her special ability, she transforms into a Sniper Rifle character. Her attacks deal massive base damage – 275% of her ATK – and still benefit from the usual 250% damage boost when fully charged. This extra 100% charge damage is particularly effective because it’s applied to such a high starting damage value. She can also be a good choice for solo raids, even if you’re having trouble coordinating her with Miranda’s Treasure ability.
Liberalio excels at quickly dealing initial damage and has some abilities that benefit from charge damage, but she primarily relies on standard attacks. Because her S2 skill significantly boosts her own attack power, receiving additional attack damage buffs – which are common from the B2 stage – doesn’t help her as much. This makes Velvet’s S2 buff, when used outside of Liberalio’s burst, especially valuable.
Blooming Bunny (bMilk) significantly boosts her own stats. Whether through her Embarrassment buff or the buff from Burst, she gains a large amount of Attack and Pierce Damage, which effectively translates to overall damage. Because of this, she doesn’t benefit much from most other characters who try to buff her. The large Charge Damage buff is especially valuable for bMilk, as a large portion of her damage comes from normal attacks.
Scarlet: Black Shadow (SBS) significantly boosts her Charge Damage with her burst, and a large portion of her damage during the burst comes from her Skill 1. However, her damage outside of her burst is surprisingly strong thanks to Velvet’s Skill 2. This is because SBS has a relatively low base Charge Damage multiplier of 150%. The +100% damage boost from Velvet’s S2 is more effective on SBS than on standard units like SR/RL (which have a 250% multiplier). For SBS, it’s like increasing her damage by 66% (250% divided by 150% equals 1.66), while SR/RL only see a 40% increase (350% divided by 250% equals 1.4).
Although Maxwell is often used to boost allies rather than deal damage herself, she can still inflict significant damage against bosses vulnerable to piercing attacks. Like a more powerful version of Nayuta, Maxwell boasts a very high base attack damage – around 813% of her final attack stat when her burst is active – but her charged attack damage is relatively lower, at 300%. This means the +100% damage boost dramatically increases her damage output, but only for a single hit.
Perhaps if base Maxwell gets a favorite item in the future, this will shine through…
If Velvet isn’t actively helping your team in a campaign, it’s usually better to use a different support unit like Mast: Romantic Maid (mMast), or a damage dealer who isn’t focused on quick bursts. Velvet offers a decent attack boost and charge damage buff, but other popular support or ranged physical damage units handle those effects more effectively, and are often preferred in campaign battles.
Units like Bready, Vesti: Tactical Upgrade, Cinderella, Red Hood (RH), Ein, and Alice all function differently. Bready, Vesti, and Cinderella primarily deal damage through powerful, fully-charged shots rather than their regular bullets. Red Hood, Ein, and Alice, however, naturally have strong charge attacks – either built-in or through enhancements – meaning a buff to charge damage isn’t as helpful for them.
Velvet can work with Burst mode, but she’s not ideal for most campaign missions because she focuses damage on single targets. Also, without improvements to her B3 units, she might struggle. Only consider using her if you specifically need extra damage against enemies weak to Wind, and especially if you’re also using Siren. Velvet uses a lot of ammo, and when Burst is active, this frequently triggers Siren’s skill, which can clear the screen effectively. However, this strategy only works if their combined damage output remains high enough, as it relies on Velvet and Siren being your primary damage dealers, potentially leaving other B3 units underutilized.
Currently, she’s the strongest Wind damage dealer in Tetra Tower, performing well even without a lot of investment in her burst ability, against both regular enemies and bosses. She can also help teams focused on Special Rating (SR) in Tetra Tower when not using her burst. It’s best to use her outside of her burst until you reach areas with enemies weak to Wind, then switch to using her for damage. Having Noir on your team will further enhance her effectiveness.
Arena
Okay, so I’ve been playing Velvet a lot, and her arena ability – where she ‘steals’ ammo – feels kinda weak, honestly. Even at max rank, she only takes 5% of their ammo when the match starts and when she goes into Burst Phase 2. It does round up to at least 1 ammo, which is nice for weapons that start with low ammo like the SR, RL, and shotguns. But 5% just isn’t enough to really mess with most players. It can be annoying for builds that need a specific amount of ammo, like some Scarlet setups or if someone is running Vest: Tactical Upgrade without a lot of ammo upgrades. But overall, it’s not a game-changer and doesn’t disrupt opponents enough to be truly effective.
Velvet shares common weaknesses with other SR units lacking Pierce – she doesn’t generate much burst damage quickly, has relatively low overall damage output, and struggles against multiple enemies. Her ultimate ability is also less effective in Arena due to a frame rate issue, cutting its power in half. Furthermore, she isn’t a good choice to boost Siren’s damage in Arena, as Siren’s main job isn’t to be a primary damage dealer.
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
Velvet significantly boosts the power of many top-tier Wind damage dealers, and is a strong Wind damage dealer herself, making her effective against enemies weak to Wind. She’s so versatile that she can replace Crown as a secondary damage source in single-team setups, like Union Raids against Wind-weak bosses or Anomaly Interception’s Kraken. This is particularly helpful in Union Raids, as it frees up units like Crown or Master to be used on other teams.
Note on a slight optimization
Okay, so as Velvet, I’ve learned it’s best to charge up my shot right before Furious Boost (FB) starts. Then, the instant I see that yellow ‘FB’ text pop up, I fire. This immediately gives my team the damage boost, and it also counts towards the 300 ammo needed for Siren to really unleash her damage. Basically, it keeps that buff going for as long as possible and makes sure we’re burning through ammo – which is a good thing, because it means we’re dealing tons of damage!
When building a team for solo raids, it’s best to use this character as a damage dealer to maximize Siren’s damage output. The other three team members should focus on boosting overall damage. This changes how teams are usually built, as traditionally, buffing damage is a role for the second damage dealer (B2). There aren’t many units designed to be a third damage dealer (B3) and buff the team, but some do exist. Here’s a list of the best options to consider when using Siren and Velvet in a solo raid team, ranked from most to least effective.
Burst 1
Siren’s Burst buff isn’t very strong, so another unit can focus on boosting the team’s stats while Siren is recharging her Burst. This works because Siren can still deal damage with her Skill 2 without needing to use Burst. Label is the best choice for this role; she provides a significant 80% boost to caster attack for the whole team, which is a much more impactful buff for both Siren and Velvet compared to Siren’s own 10% attack damage and 17% caster attack buff to herself.
While a Defender’s attack buff isn’t as strong for Supporters as it is for Defenders, Label’s buff still significantly boosts the attack power of units like Siren and Velvet. This benefit will continue to grow as players acquire more Label units.
Even though it has a 40-second cooldown, Red Hood remains the best choice for boosting the entire team’s attack power when placed in the first slot. However, as boss fights get longer, Label’s burst buff will generally become more effective, even with the ability to reset Red Hood’s cooldown once, because Red Hood’s buff won’t be available as consistently.
Because Red Hood has been available for a longer time, most players likely have more developed versions of her compared to Label, if they own her at all. Additionally, the B1 buff, which increases attack power for caster units based on an attacker’s stats, benefits the team’s main damage dealers, Siren and Velvet, more significantly, as support units generally have lower base attack stats than attackers.
Okay, so I’ve been looking into Emma, or ‘tEmma’ as some people call her. She’s a pretty good option if you don’t have Label or Red Hood yet, though her attack buff isn’t quite as strong. She only boosts caster attack by 40%, but she has this cool ability to sometimes make enemies take more damage, which helps. Plus, she’s a Machine Gunner for Siren, which makes up for some of the difference in the buff. Honestly, since she supports casters like Velvet and Siren, the buff feels just as useful on them as it would with Label or Red Hood. I think she’s a solid pick if you’re still building your team!
Burst 3
Helm (Treasure) is a huge benefit to the team. One of the main weaknesses of this setup is a lack of support and defensive capabilities. Helm alone addresses this by offering extra damage potential, consistent healing with each fully charged attack, and a powerful Burst ability that also heals the team. Plus, she provides a passive Attack Damage boost to everyone when entering FB, something the other characters don’t do.
Even without her unique Treasure, Helm’s Treasure is highly recommended for anyone using her, especially since she became available through Bonus Recruit in 2026. If you’re building a team around this damage-dealing setup, Helm should always be included, as she significantly boosts its effectiveness compared to other B3 units. Outside of Water-weak raids, she generally provides additional support rather than being a core damage dealer in other teams.
Okay, so as a big fan of Ludmilla – or xLud as some call her – I’ve found she’s amazing at keeping up a debuff on the boss as long as she’s attacking. This is super helpful because both Velvet and Siren can really take advantage of it, especially when they’re focusing on damage during all phases of the fight. Plus, xLud being a Machine Gunner gives Siren an even bigger damage boost – it’s a really strong combo!
Although Diesel: Winter Sweets applies a Damage Taken debuff only when using her Burst skill – unlike xLud, who functions more like a traditional Machine Gun unit – xDiesel’s debuff is significantly stronger. This, combined with her overall higher damage output, allows her to more than compensate for any differences and achieve greater DPS.
While xDiesel is a strong unit overall, it’s generally more effective to pair them with Nayuta and MirandaT against enemies weak to Wind. This is because xDiesel works exceptionally well with Nayuta, who doesn’t increase her own attack power and benefits from xDiesel’s support.
Using xDiesel instead of xLud for a Siren and Velvet team is tricky because xLud’s powerful burst ability interferes with a key strategy. Specifically, xLud boosting her own attack makes it hard to consistently apply a critical rate buff from Miranda to Nayuta, ultimately lowering the team’s overall damage output.
If you haven’t built a strong damage team with Nayuta and MirandaT, it’s much better to use xDiesel over xLud when fighting Siren and Velvet. The difference in damage will be significant. Once you do have that Nayuta/MirandaT team ready, it’s worth testing if you can also use Velvet as a supporting character instead of a main damage dealer.
Noir gives a small, lasting boost to caster attack power as long as she stays above 70% health. While the boost isn’t huge, it’s more useful for characters like Siren and Velvet because of her Wind element. Plus, if you build her with good elemental damage stats, she can add extra Wind damage to your team and help keep everyone’s magazines full.
Okay, so here’s the deal with Maxwell in this team. He doesn’t get the Charge Damage boost from Velvet’s Skill 2, which is a bummer. But, when he hits his Full Burst, he gives a massive 43% ATK boost to the two strongest attackers on the team – it’s a really solid damage buff!
To ensure a unit receives the attack buff in Forgotten Battlefield, it needs to be among the two units with the highest attack stats when the battle starts. If you’re using Maxwell with Velvet, it’s best to upgrade Velvet’s Skill 1. This skill gives her a significant attack boost, even if it’s temporary, and can help her qualify for Maxwell’s buff when entering the battle.
Like xDiesel, Maxwell generally performs better with a Nayuta and MirandaT damage-dealing team. This is particularly true if the team is built to take advantage of the extra attack boost Maxwell provides, similar to how it works with xDiesel.
Privaty isn’t a top-tier unit, but she’s easily obtainable for free through the Day by Day event, making her accessible to all players. When her Full Burst is activated, she provides a decent attack boost to the entire team. Although she cuts magazine size in half, she also significantly increases reload speed, resulting in an overall damage increase, particularly if your other units have skills that help manage ammo.
Drake should only be considered if you’ve exhausted other options. Although she provides a team-wide attack boost and is available for free with the Road to Villain pass, her buff is weaker than Privaty’s and she lacks other helpful abilities, making her a last-resort choice.
Something to note is that this was with Velvet at 4/7/7.

My Velvet’s Overload lines, helping make her DPS possible.
Okay, so I’m really digging the B2 – her damage output is seriously impressive! But like with any damage dealer, you can’t just throw her in and expect miracles. You have to put some effort into building her right and making sure the team supports her, or she won’t reach her full potential.
Strengths
- Great boost to Wind DPS as a whole, whether she’s using Burst or not.
- Provides two novel ways to boost DPS. More units could appear in the future that make greater use of either Charge Damage or Ammo Expenditure.
- Provides such a strong buff to all the meta Wind DPS Pilgrim units when used off-burst, that she supplants Crown specifically for Wind-weak content, especially Union Raid.
- Has incredible DPS potential, with the caveat that it means the B3s have to support her to make the most of it.
Weaknesses
- S1 buff duration is so short, which somewhat gets in the way of her DPS capability. It’d be so good if she could use it in DPS mode.
- Is an incredibly selfish B2 if using her Burst as she turns into a DPS unit, so standard team setups don’t work well for her.
- Even though SRs and RLs are a common weapon, a lot of them don’t actually make great use of the huge Charge Damage buff.
- Ammo Expenditure is currently used only by Siren (Elegg: Boom and Shock doesn’t count), reducing Velvet’s potential if she is not paired up with Siren in any content.

Recommended Cubes
If you’re using her to boost the team’s damage from the sidelines, the Resilience cube is a good choice. It helps her fire off Full Charge shots more consistently during Fevertime, ultimately increasing the team’s overall damage output.
When she uses her Burst ability, she doesn’t need ammunition, so focusing on the Destruction Cube is best, particularly when fighting bosses with breakable parts. At other times, she should equip the highest-level cube available to boost her attack power.
Doll Priority
Velvet’s ability to deal high damage means prioritizing Dolls for her is usually important. However, this is mainly true if you plan to use her as a primary damage dealer right away. If you’re only using her for occasional bursts of damage and don’t intend to significantly increase her damage output, investing in Dolls for her won’t make much of a difference. Considering both scenarios, her overall Doll Priority is Medium.

S1 << S2 | S1 is honestly not very good. Since Velvet lacks any sort of big burst move, its short duration is mostly wasted on her, since the bulk of her attacks mid-FB can’t make use of it. If using Maxwell in the DPS setup, though, it’s recommended to level it to 7 to maximize the chance she secures Maxwell’s S1 buff for herself.
S2 is where she gets a large portion of her power, especially off-burst. Not only is it where her unique, high Charge Damage buff to allies is from, but it also empowers her damage activation whenever she goes Burst mode. While Burst is amazing for her personal DPS, it is also not necessary to level if not using her for DPS purposes. It can be left at 1 until you really need to make her a DPS unit. Since the MG is uniquely powerful at max rank, leveling it to 10 is eventually recommended, as it’ll add up over the course of a fight for each bullet fired. |

| Increase Element Damage Dealt | ★★★★★ | 4x | Wanted for Union Raids and Solo Raid content. |
| Increase Hit Rate | ☆☆☆☆☆ | 0x | — |
| Increase Max Ammunition Capacity | ★★★★☆ | 1-2x | While she doesn’t need ammo with Burst active, it is vital for her if used as an off-burst support for Siren. Any reload during FB would reduce the amount of virtual bullets she consumes for Siren, and max ammo reduces the occurence. |
| Increase ATK | ★★★★☆ | 3 – 4x | Simply more damage. While 4 ATK lines would be amazing for Velvet, especially in DPS mode, it does relatively little for her in off-burst mode. |
| Increase Charge Damage | ☆☆☆☆☆ | 0x | She herself IS the giant Charge Damage OL for the team, at least when off-burst. |
| Increase Charge Speed | ★★★★★ | 3 – 4x | While it is luxurious in a way, it is highly recommended to get Charge Speed OLs if using her for Siren. While it is useless for her in Burst mode, Charge Speed OLs are incredible, since they allow her to consume more ammo within FB, to boost Siren’s DPS. |
| Increase Critical Rate | ★★★☆☆ | 0 – 1x | While Velvet makes great use of Critical Rate with Burst, it is almost useless if using her Off-burst. It’s more of a luxury than an actual necessity for Velvet, especially if it comes at the expense of her off-burst potential. |
| Increase Critical Damage | ★★★☆☆ | 0 – 1x | Ditto. It would seriously be amazing to get either critical line, but it’s best to increase her power in both modes, instead of just going all in for one version of Velvet. |
