VED is a Hand-Drawn Turn-Based RPG Heading to Xbox in November
As an avid fan of immersive, hand-drawn RPGs with a knack for turn-based combat and roguelike elements, the announcement of VED coming to consoles and PC this November has sent a wave of excitement coursing through my veins! With its captivating storyline and intriguing ability to traverse between two interconnected worlds, I can’t help but feel like I’ve stumbled upon a long-lost treasure map that leads straight to adventure heaven.
The fantastical, hand-drawn role-playing game known as VED, which incorporates turn-based battles and roguelike aspects, is set to launch on both consoles and PCs in November, according to Fulqrum Publishing’s announcement.
Created by Karaclan, VED narrates the tale of the young hero Cyrus, embarking on a mission to master both magic and swordsmanship, all while working to prevent impending doom. From the city of Micropolis, you’ll uncover the power to teleport between two linked realms throughout your adventure, and along the way, you’ll be confronted with challenging choices.
Across the human world and a magical world inhabited by monsters and flying islands, Cyrus will need to harness the power of the Veds, and ultimately decide the fate of the two worlds in a non-linear story. VED will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 14th November.
