VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) EMEA is hitting the road, and the Stage 2 Grand Finals will be held in Barcelona! The best teams in the region will compete at the famous Olímpic Arena for a chance to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026.
Barcelona sets the stage for VCT EMEA Stage 2
Okay, so huge news for VCT EMEA fans! For the first time ever, we’re not heading to Berlin for the Stage 2 Finals. Instead, the tournament is moving to Barcelona, Spain! It’s going to be held at the Olímpic Arena in Badalona, which is a massive venue that’s hosted tons of big events. They’re saying it can fit up to 13,000 of us, which is awesome! I’m already planning my trip!
VCT EMEA Stage 2 was originally planned for Madrid, but Riot Games decided to move it to Barcelona. The event will still be held in Spain, giving fans the chance to attend in person. Riot described the Stage 2 Finals as the biggest event of the VCT EMEA season and a thrilling conclusion to the year.
VALORANT fans have a lot to look forward to with planned events and ways to connect with the community. Only the four best teams from the EMEA region will qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai, China. Riot Games will announce more about the Stage 2 Finals, including what to expect at the event and how to buy tickets, in the months ahead.
VCT roadtrips
The Stage 2 Grand Finals won’t just be in one location this year. VCT Americas will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, and VCT Pacific will take place in Busan, South Korea.
Throughout the 2026 season, China will be a hub for several events in various cities. The season began in Guangzhou, with regular season matches for Stage 1 held in Hangzhou and the Stage 1 playoffs in Beijing. Stage 2’s regular season will take place in Changsha, and Chengdu will host the Stage 2 playoffs.
The Stage 2 Finals are set to be an amazing event, particularly for those who haven’t had the chance to see it in person yet.
