Vanessa Marcil Claps Back at Brian Austin Green’s ‘Toxic’ Relationship Claim

In simpler terms, Vanessa Marcil, who used to be married to Brian Austin Green, posted a previous conversation between them that seemed to hint subtly at Brian in a potentially critical manner.

Yesterday on the Old-ish podcast, Green referred to their past relationship as ‘toxic’. He was joined by co-hosts Randy Spelling and fiancée Sharna Burgess.

Vanessa and Brian started going out together in the year 1999 when they met on the set of Beverly Hills, 90210, and they got engaged in 2001. Their son Kassius, who is now 23 years old, was born shortly after that, but the relationship between them didn’t last much longer after that point.

On Tuesday, the actress from Las Vegas, aged 56, hopped onto Instagram and shared what seemed like a subtle message suggesting that Jason Green may have overlooked their son’s graduation ceremony.

She shared a picture with him, and he asked, “When was this taken?” To which she responded, “That photo was taken at his graduation yesterday.

After that, the man with five children praised her by saying, “You did an exceptional job.” He also mentioned, “He’s truly remarkable.” To which, Marcil politely replied, “Thank you.

This past Monday, Brian discussed his connections with Megan Fox and Vanessa during a recent podcast installment, looking back at those relationships.

Since their separation, Green and Marcil have found themselves in a long-standing co-parenting dispute. Back in 2023, Green alleged that the actress prevented him from visiting their son, Kassius, on one occasion.

In 2018, she claimed that Brian and Megan Fox, his wife at the time, had distanced themselves from Kass. However, it was later disclosed that Megan Fox had apologized for her part in their family issues, as revealed by Vanessa.

The actor reminisced about his mother’s overprotective behavior during his childhood years and how it influenced his subsequent relationships.

He shared with Randy and Sharna that if he’s seeking a woman, he desires someone who is fundamentally different from what he’s been looking for. Unfortunately, he’s made significant mistakes due to this approach in the past.

In essence, my connection with Vanessa was quite harmful rather than filled with love and care.

He mentioned about his mother, “At times, she prioritized me excessively, making everything revolve around me. However, that wasn’t the case with Vanessa; instead, their relationship seemed to be one where I did exist, but it was hidden behind a facade.

Green originally thought that Vanessa was assisting him, but a few years down the line, he no longer recognized himself.

Following their separation, Brian started seeing Megan Fox, whom he described as “a refreshing change, feeling more like a breath of fresh air after a long and challenging time, much like stepping out of Vietnam for me.

In 2004, the pair began dating when they met each other on the set of Hope & Faith. Back then, she was only 18 years old while he was already 30 years old.

2010 saw them exchanging wedding vows, but it wasn’t until 2021 that their marriage legally ended. Their brood consists of three offspring – Noah, age twelve, Bodhi, eleven, and Journey who is eight years old.

Since the year 2020, Green has found himself in a romantic partnership with skilled dancer Sharna Burgess. The couple welcomed their two-year-old son, Zane, in June of 2022.

In the previous year, I stood up for Fox, expressing that they had already apologized for their part in our family’s drama, which Vanessa was involved in.

‘She has apologized to me and our child. She expressed that she is “disgusted” by her actions. But maintaining a connection with an adult man/biological father is his responsibility, not hers.’

Subsequently, the star stated about Burgess, “However, take my word, deep inside she understands she’s being deceived. I empathize with her and her dear son. We no longer hold significance. The children do. A time will come when we are all gone, and these siblings will reunite.

My eldest son has access to the genuine facts, and he takes their security and tranquility very seriously. He is committed to safeguarding them because the truth ultimately triumphs.

I take pride in aligning myself with the correct course of history, knowing that I sacrificed all for the sake of my beloved son and standing firm for what is truthful.

In the year prior, or around 2023, Green asserted that Vanessa was keeping their son Kassius away from him during his battles with vertigo.

During a past episode, Sharna claimed that when Brian couldn’t visit Kassius, she (Vanessa) didn’t put in any effort to arrange for him (Brian) to spend time with Kassius instead.

Instead, she portrayed him as a distant father who deliberately stayed away from his child. I’m confident that this information would have reached Kass, and it’s hard to fathom the harm it could have caused him.

Brian additionally stated, ‘I discovered later on that my improvement began around the same time as her portrayal of me leaving Kass during that period. However, the truth was that I was grappling with severe mental fog due to my condition at the time.’

He said, “If only Vanessa had expressed, ‘I will ensure during this time that your son can continue visiting you at home.’

In hindsight, taking that action could have significantly altered the circumstances. Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out as I had hoped. The events unfolded differently than expected.

Previously, Marcil asserted that she single-handedly brought up Kassius. Moreover, she stated that he pursued legal action against her for a long time, demanding child support – something Brian refuted.
