Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker have officially expanded their family.
The 36-year-old actress, known for her role in High School Musical, announced on Instagram Saturday that she and her athlete husband are new parents. She shared a heartwarming photo of them holding hands in a hospital bed.
She announced the arrival of her new baby with a post saying, ‘I did it! Another baby! Labor was intense, but amazing. Sending love to all the moms out there – it’s incredible what our bodies are capable of.’
For days, people have been guessing when Vanessa would give birth. Fans noticed she didn’t appear to be showing in recent pictures, and it turns out their suspicions were correct.
Vanessa announced she was pregnant with her second child in July with a simple Instagram post saying, ‘Round two!!!!’
The couple, already parents to one child, are thrilled to welcome their new baby and are celebrating with loved ones. Fans are overjoyed for the expanding family.

People began to suspect Vanessa had given birth after she shared a beach photo on Thanksgiving where she appeared to have quickly lost weight.
The actress looked stunning in the Instagram photo, wearing a form-fitting dress while posing against a beautiful tropical backdrop of palm trees, sand, and the ocean.
She shared a Thanksgiving message expressing her gratitude and happiness, adding with a laugh that she was also very tired. She wished everyone a lovely and grateful day.
But it was the absence of a baby bump that really stumped her followers.
‘Did Vanessa already give birth to baby number 2?’ one fan wanted to know.
Someone guessed she might have had a baby, pointing out she’s mentioned being very tired in her recent posts. They added that having two children under two years old would be challenging.
‘Was baby born?’ a third questioned.
A curious observer chimed in, ‘Did Vanessa have her baby already?’
The previous day, Hudgens appeared to drop a clue when she shared a post about ‘mom life.’

She shared a flattering selfie, explaining she hadn’t taken any recent photos of herself due to being busy with motherhood. She added a cheerful message, hoping everyone was having a good day.
The last post the actress shared of herself pregnant was on November 10.
Vanessa Hudgens and her husband, baseball player Cole Tucker, had a baby boy in July 2024. They haven’t shared his name with the public yet.
The couple, who wed in December 2023, have mostly kept their child out of the public eye.
Just over a year after giving birth, Vanessa Hudgens’ baby appeared in a promotional campaign for her collaboration with Cool Brands.

She showcased the ‘Star is Born’ line, which includes clothing, toys, bath items, and furniture for babies and children.
On July 12th, the actress from The Princess Switch shared some happy news: she and her husband are expecting their second child, posting a sweet photo to announce it. She captioned the picture, ‘Round two!!!!’
Vanessa Hudgens recently shared with E! News how she balances life with a baby and another on the way, discussing it at an event in West Hollywood on August 21st.
“Balance? I wouldn’t say I have that figured out,” Hudgens admitted. “Life is hectic, and time is really valuable. I tend to go all-in on things – I’m either completely focused on one thing or another. So, maybe that’s my version of balance – embracing extremes.”
She shared that motherhood has been a truly insightful experience, and it’s teaching her to appreciate the present and not rush through life.

Hudgens shared that it’s common to get caught up thinking about future happiness – like telling yourself you’ll be happy ‘when’ something happens, or that life will be simpler ‘when’ certain conditions are met. However, she emphasized that true happiness lies in appreciating the present moment instead.
Still, the Spring Breakers star has to admit motherhood can be ‘exhausting.’
She said being a mom is incredibly tiring, and expressed her gratitude for Narwal, a company that makes robot vacuums and mops, which help lighten her load.
Having a bit of free time to myself is really important. It means when my baby is asleep, I don’t feel like I have to do chores. I can just relax and watch something like Love Island.
