Vanessa Feltz’s ex-fiancé Ben Ofoedu in formal talks to run for Tory mayoral candidate for London

Ben Ofoedu, former fiancé of Vanessa Feltz and known ’90s pop star, has announced unexpected political ambitions.

The singer from Phats & Small, who is 52 years old, aims to earn the faith of potential voters following serious discussions about his possible nomination as the Conservative Party’s mayoral candidate for London.

At the Suki Wang London Summer Party held at 180 The Strand, he explicitly stated, “I will be running for mayor of London.” (According to Richard Eden’s Daily Mail column.)

I followed in the footsteps of the Conservative Party in June, supporting their candidate Greg Smith during the General Election campaign in Mid Buckinghamshire.

During that period, he spoke to The Sun about his long-standing interest in politics and his past dealings with Boris Johnson and other political figures.

‘I’m now ready to start my political journey and training to eventually run for Mayor of London.’

He added: ‘London needs fixing. It’s my home and Sadiq Khan is a disaster.’

As a lifestyle expert, I’d suggest paraphrasing it this way: Ben and I, both in our early sixties, met in 2005 and got engaged the year after. However, our journey together came to an end in February 2023, after 16 lovely years, due to a regrettable infidelity on his part.

The singer admitted that he had slept with one woman and shared inappropriate texts with another. 

The ex-pair have had deep-rooted animosity towards each other. Ben fiercely accused Vanessa of taking away the most precious years of his life and using him merely for her aesthetic pleasure.

After Vanessa revealed their breakup to the public, Ben expressed that he has been left in a difficult position, having to deal with the fallout while his ex-partner has been presenting a version of events that portrays him unfavorably, despite feeling he too had been wronged.

Since her breakup with her ex-fiancé, the Celebs Go Dating star has admitted to spending just one night by herself at home.

In her own words, she acknowledged that her pursuit of love hasn’t yielded any results, and she shared back in June that her previous dating experience was a total disaster.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: During our recent date, I sadly discovered that I just couldn’t connect with the person. In fact, my discomfort set in even before we received our soups.

In an interview with Heat, she admitted, “I only met a man for dinner last night, but I disliked him so much by the time we finished our soup.”

Despite the disappointing date, the star continues to go out every night instead of staying home, having confessed that she’s been doing so for an entire year.

The TV celebrity, known for quipping about going on numerous dates during her time on Celebs Go Dating, admitted she dislikes spending too much time at home.

For over a year, she admitted to going out every night. A while back, she tried staying home for an evening, but she didn’t particularly enjoy it.

Vanessa confessed to the magazine that she has a habit of settling down too quickly, but she’s come to understand that this may not be the right choice for her.

She confessed, “I’ve tended to adjust rapidly to new situations, but I’m now questioning if this has been beneficial for me in the long run.”

In March reports surfaced that Ben and his three-months-long girlfriend, Precious Muir, were planning to get married.

In December, it became public knowledge that the musician is engaged to Previous, a reality TV personality who is 33 years old. At a recent gathering, he was heard referring to her as “my upcoming bride.”

A bystander shared with The Mirror that Ben had openly discussed his plans to marry Precious in the near future. His demeanor expressed great joy and satisfaction.

Despite being together for a long time, their joyful expressions took me by surprise.
