Vanessa Feltz is reportedly working hard to ensure the success of her Channel 5 show, which she relaunched this week with a newly designed studio.
The show originally started in March during the lunchtime hour, but it paused for a while to accommodate the holiday programming.
As a longtime fan, I have to admit I was really disappointed with the new set. A lot of us felt it just looked…cheap, and honestly, a bit tacky. Several people online said it reminded them of a badly made, fake podcast studio, and I have to say, I kind of agree!
Okay, so, everyone keeps talking numbers, and honestly, it kills me that my absolute favorite show only gets around 50,000 viewers for each episode – they’re, like, 70 minutes of pure genius! It’s just… frustrating because Jeremy Vine gets way more, and I honestly don’t understand it. My show is SO much better! It breaks my heart to see it lagging behind.
Vanessa’s show has been renewed for another year, with the network planning a major push to ensure its success.
A source said: ‘Vanessa is putting everything she has into the show to make it a success.’

Sources told The Sun that she believes the show is strong enough to remain on traditional television, even with current challenges, and she has ambitious goals for it in 2026.
Channel 5 invested a significant amount of resources into launching the show, but its popularity hasn’t reached their expectations.
People commenting on X noted that the show has a completely new set design for the new year. Even Vanessa on Channel 5 has updated her set, replacing her old pink sofas with something resembling a mock podcast studio.
Everyone seems to be creating podcast studios, but GMB’s looks the most presentable. I’m not even sure if anyone still watches shows like this – I didn’t realize it was still airing.
‘Looks cheap and tacky’; ‘Is it supposed to be an army base in the 50s’;
Vanessa works best in smaller roles. While she’s good on TV, a full show is too much for her to carry alone, and she was more comfortable and effective as part of the ‘This Morning’ team.
The Daily Mail has contacted Channel 5 and Vanessa’s representatives for a comment.
Her show began in March and airs during lunchtime, from 12:45 to 1:45pm. It’s made by the same production team that creates the popular Jeremy Vine show.

She’s celebrated for her perceptive and candid takes on a wide range of topics, including relationships, parenting, current events, and fashion.
Vanessa, 63, is being described as a refreshing change from the constant stream of news. She’s expected to deliver television that is both comforting and honest, tackling important issues directly.
She’s known for being insightful and straightforward, and she covers a wide range of topics – from relationships and raising kids to the latest news and style trends.
This show offers an intimate look at celebrities, sharing their personal stories, struggles, and triumphs. What viewers want to hear will drive the entire program.
