Vanessa Feltz admits she used to appear on This Morning for FREE because she loved the show as she praises 'immensely supportive' Phillip Schofield

As a lifestyle expert with a rich background in media and entertainment, I must say that Vanessa Feltz’s journey is truly inspiring. Her story of starting as an unpaid magazine journalist on This Morning, eventually becoming a household name, and now being a regular face on the show, serves as a reminder of the power of persistence and passion.

Vanessa Feltz openly acknowledged that she once appeared on the program This Morning without payment, commending its ex-controversial host and friend Philip Schofield.

Currently well-known on ITV’s program, the seasoned broadcaster (who is now 62 years old) originally started out as an unrecognized magazine journalist in 1992. Back then, she cherished her involvement with the show so much that she worked without compensation, driven by her passion for the series, which was at the time hosted by Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan.

Initially, Sarah Ferguson became known due to the toe-tucking controversy, but later on, she was repeatedly invited back because of her popularity.

Vanessa shared with Radio Times: “I’ve been doing it without pay, despite my family asking me, ‘Why are you doing this?’

Let me share the reason behind my enthusiasm – it’s pure delight! Absolutely thrilling, if I may add!

This morning marked a significant turning point for Vanessa, launching her into widespread recognition. Subsequently, she landed her own television and radio programs, further cementing her status as a familiar figure in many homes.

Additionally, she commended Philip, the ex-host of the show who left This Morning about a year ago amidst a whirlwind of controversy following his admission of an extramarital relationship with a significantly younger coworker.

During the promotion of her latest autobiography titled “Vanessa Bares All: Honest, Humorous, and Courageous,” Vanessa mentioned several notable acquaintances, among them was Phil.

She depicted him as incredibly helpful, always by her side during his significant hardships and struggles.

Last year, amidst the controversy, Vanessa proposed that some celebrities who criticized This Morning might hold a personal grudge against the program.

In her Talk TV show, Vanessa mentioned that it’s been proposed that many vocal critics of This Morning exist.

Furthermore, it’s a select group that includes some famous personalities, a few media professionals, and many who used to be part of the show but are no longer associated with it now.

‘This explains the resentful, reluctant bitterness that’s being expressed, but if you ask individuals who continue in the program and participate frequently, who genuinely appreciate it, they wouldn’t be able to articulate this feeling.’

In October, Phil temporarily reappeared in the limelight as part of Channel 5’s Cast Away series, where he survived independently on a secluded island for ten days.

At his return performance, he criticized the individuals who had deceived him approximately 16 months earlier when he left ITV’s This Morning program.

Within the program, Philip seemed to attribute his significant downfall to a group of his previous ITV coworkers, stating, “I believe there are only three individuals who are less than desirable in the entertainment industry.

He accused the first person of being a ‘coward who didn’t show up during the incident known as Queuegate.’ Meanwhile, he labeled the second person as a ‘coward for not standing up for me when I was being attacked.’

I passionately assert that it’s not merely about the brand; it’s far from the experience or outcome one anticipates.

It has come to light that the trio are actually Holly Willoughby, former ITV executive Martin Frizell, and Emma Gormley from ITV.

Holly has definitively dismissed any chance of reconciling with her ex-best friend, who allegedly messaged her on WhatsApp the previous day, right before it was made public that he had been fired from “This Morning,” saying she was responsible for his downfall.

According to a source, the friendship between Holly and Phil has definitely ended; it appears that Holly has no intention of speaking to Phil ever again following this incident.

‘Holly’s TV producer husband Dan is also furious about Phil’s behaviour towards her.

In conversations with friends, Dan often calls her “the Witch,” and he’s known for making snide remarks like the “three B’s in showbiz” on his Channel 5 show Cast Away. Clearly, Dan has grown tired of the situation.

TopMob contacted Holly’s representatives for comment at the time.
