At the Swiped premiere on Thursday, Vanessa Feltz dazzled in a stunning pink lace gown, continuing to impress with her impressive weight loss of two stones.

The television host, aged 63, has openly discussed her struggles with weight in the past, yet consistently strives to keep herself fit.

Vanessa confidently showcased her impressive transformation in a midi, figure-hugging dress. 

Adding inches to her frame, Vanessa slipped into a pair of black, sparkly, platform wedges. 

Previously, the host of This Morning shared that her weight has significantly varied from a size 10 to a size 22 throughout the years.

As a devoted admirer, I’m eager to share something personal I’ve learned from my favorite talk show host. She’s openly discussed her long-term struggle with self-image and, more recently, revealed the method she employed to conquer her weight loss battle.

In simpler terms, Vanessa finds dieting extremely challenging, describing it as spirit-crushing. Over the past 18 months, she’s seen her weight fluctuate significantly, going up and down while switching between different diet plans.

But in recent times, Vanessa has managed to sustain a slim figure. 

In an interview with OK! magazine in April, Vanessa shared the mystery that keeps her youthful appearance vibrant over time.

Upon hearing a compliment about her physique, she responded graciously, saying, “That’s really kind of you to note, thank you.

She stated, “I can’t seem to figure out what I’ve been busy with lately. To tell the truth, it’s probably due to my excessive workload.

I work every day of the week, and on Channel 5 at 12:30 PM, there’s a new Vanessa show that I don’t want to miss. On Saturdays and Sundays, I also host shows on LBC.

‘Being busy and on my feet must be contributing to how I look.’ 

A few short years have passed since Vanessa’s ex-boyfriend, Ben Ofoedu, derogatorily referred to her as a ‘plump blonde’ following their split, in an attempt to belittle her.

Within mere months, the presenter appeared transformed, sporting a revamped appearance and boasting a weight loss of approximately two stones. She attributed this change to what she referred to as a “heartbreak diet.

After the breakup, caused by revelations about Ben’s infidelity becoming public knowledge, Vanessa shared that she hadn’t consumed food for several months.

‘That’s the silver lining from a broken heart,’ she said. 

During the years 1999 to 2000, Vanessa experienced significant weight loss, reducing her size from 22 to 10. However, she subsequently regained that weight.

In the year 2004, she shed approximately 13.6 kg (two stone), but later regained that weight. In the following year, 2007, she managed to lose another 13.6 kg, but once more, the weight returned, leaving her back at a size 22.

By the year 2010, Vanessa underwent a gastric bypass surgery, a procedure she found effective in maintaining a stable weight for her.

In the latter part of 2024, Vanessa admitted that, given prior knowledge about Ozempic, she would not have undergone the surgery.

Ozempic is a drug used to manage Type 2 diabetes, which slows down how quick food is digested. 

Regarding the weight-loss drug, Vanessa expressed to The Independent that she would happily have given herself injections in her thigh for as long as necessary and would have been thrilled to do so. However, she unfortunately missed out on using it since she came before its introduction, which is unfortunate.

‘We don’t know what the long-term effects are but who cares? At least you’re thin.’

Last month, it became public knowledge that Vanessa will be hosting her unique daytime talk show on Channel 5, airing during the lunch hour from 12:45 to 13:45 pm, entitled “Vanessa.

The program serves as a refreshing respite from the constant news cycle, offering heartfelt, impactful, and candid television, hosted by Vanessa.
