Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute ENGAGED to Luke Broderick after two year romance: ‘You chose me!’

Kristen Doute got engaged to boyfriend Luke Broderick this week – following a two year romance.
41-year-old cast member from Vanderpump Rules proudly displayed her stunning diamond engagement ring following Broderick’s proposal aboard a yacht in Hawaii at the age of 33.
She titled the photos: ‘I’m as hooked on you as this ring I wear, out of all the fish in the ocean, you picked me.’
The photos showed Doute – flashing her abs in a white crop-top and skirt looking visibly shocked as Broderick got down on one knee.
In another photo, she unveiled a stunning emerald-cut diamond ring, estimated at 4.27 carats, accompanied by smaller diamonds on the band and a secret halo, as reported by USWeekly.
On the fourth of September, during filming for the second season of Bravo’s reality series, The Valley, Broderick proposed to his partner.
In November 2023 Doute revealed she had suffered a tragic miscarriage at six weeks with Luke.
In the November 26th edition of their Sex, Love, and Other Significant Topics podcast, titled ‘We Experienced a Miscarriage’, the Vanderpump Rules cast member shared their emotional journey – following the discovery that she was pregnant on October 24th.
That very day, Ariana Madix, her friend and ex-cast member, participated in the “Most Memorable Year” week of Dancing with the Stars.
In my latest podcast episode on October 26, my partner and I, who have been an official duo since the heart of last year, decided it was the perfect time to share some exciting news: we are now prepared to embark on the beautiful journey of parenthood by attempting to start our family.
A few months back, Luke and I had a conversation about our deeply committed relationship. Recently, I visited my obstetrician-gynecologist in August, and everything checked out fine for me. This is what Kristen shared with her audience.
Approximately a month on, the actress from 23 Minutes to Sunrise, with a voice filled with tears, shared with her audience that discovering she was pregnant was the most wonderful day of her life.
The author of “He’s Making You Crazy” elaborated by saying, ‘I found it astonishing to learn that one can discover they’re pregnant – you’re unsure about how advanced the pregnancy is.’
After quite some time has passed, you’ll need to spend time alone with yourself, within your body, while nurturing this growing infant,” she explained, expressing her uncertainty about the steps ahead.
As a die-hard admirer, I’d share that I’ve eagerly booked a meeting with my beloved’s doctor and arranged for an ultrasound scan to discover the stage of her journey.
Following the second examination, the couple received reassuring updates that everything appeared perfect. However, during their third ultrasound, they regrettably learned that the pregnancy was no longer sustainable.
The doctors told the pair there was ‘no cause’ for what had happened.
Kristen’s pregnancy progressed as what is known as an unproductive egg sac, implying that no embryo has formed or fully grown, making the pregnancy non-viable.
Approximately 10-100 out of every 100 recognized pregnancies result in a miscarriage, with the actual figure potentially being higher due to miscarriages happening before the woman realizes she’s pregnant.
Kristen said she had ‘some light bleeding’ during the early days of her pregnancy.
I find it easier to discuss this topic since I’ve learned that a lot of my friends have experienced the same thing.
‘So many women have been through this and it’s really f**king terrifying,’ she explained.
Looking forward to the future, the potential parents expressed their intentions of addressing their feelings first, followed by another attempt to grow their family.
‘We were very lucky and very fortunate we got pregnant so quickly,’ she said.
