Vanderpump Rules Season 12: New Cast, Drama & Release Date Revealed

After a dramatic season 11, Vanderpump Rules is coming back for season 12 with some changes to the cast.

Following its eleventh season, Bravo announced a complete cast overhaul for the reality show Vanderpump Rules. This decision came after the dramatic fallout from “Scandavol” – the shocking breakup between Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval, caused by his affair with fellow cast member Raquel Leviss.

Following the season 11 reunion, it became apparent that many of the original cast members were ready to move on and didn’t want to continue working with former partners or friends with whom they’d had conflicts. In November 2024, Lisa Vanderpump announced she was hiring a new team for her restaurant, Sur Bar & Lounge, describing them as a group of close-knit employees with relationships as complex as those of the original cast.

I’ve always been impressed by Lisa Vanderpump – she’s a total businesswoman! But a lot of people first got to know her from her nine seasons on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I remember when she decided to leave; it seemed like things were really tough for her personally, and she had a falling out with Kyle Richards, which was sad to see. Recently, she put out a statement about what’s happening with the cast of Vanderpump Rules, and it said…

These past twelve years of filming have been incredible – a real rollercoaster of emotions, with so much joy and sadness along the way. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has been a part of the show and shared their stories with me. I love you all! Just like in the restaurant world, one chapter ends and another begins. Here’s to the future of Vanderpump Rules!

Earlier this year, new cast members were seen filming. Demyana Selem and Jason Cohen are confirmed to be joining the production, and Marcus Johnson, Cale Holland, Gabrielle Cagan, Gabriella Bella, Venus Binkley, and Natalie Maguire are also rumored to be part of the cast.

Andy Cohen, the host of several popular Bravo shows, praised the changes to the cast of Vanderpump Rules, calling it a smart decision that was necessary after significant conflict arose among the original cast members.

Alex Baskin, an executive producer for Vanderpump Rules, is excited about the cast changes and says he’s looking forward to viewers meeting the new group of friends and colleagues.

Ariana Madix, known for being involved in the recent Scandavol controversy, has found new opportunities hosting Love Island USA and competing on Dancing with the Stars. Meanwhile, Tom Sandoval and his band, The Most Extras, tried out for America’s Got Talent but weren’t successful and were eliminated.

Many fans enjoy Vanderpump Rules for its wild cast and dramatic storylines, but it currently has a low rating of just 22% on Rotten Tomatoes. Season 12 is set to premiere on December 12th and will be available to stream on Peacock, BravoTV.com, and the Bravo app, just like previous seasons.
