On Tuesday, December 11, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Burbank Police Department was dispatched to Kennedy’s home due to a reported verbal dispute between a man and a woman.
At this time, there has been no confirmation Lewber was the reported victim.
The arrest occurred after Kennedy and Ally attended Kathy Hilton’s Christmas bash together.
According to TMZ, the Burbank Police Daily Arrest Log indicates that an officer interacted with Kennedy and a woman at a house on the same evening following a 9-1-1 call.
At that location, an unnamed woman informed authorities that her boyfriend had driven her there and then violently pushed her onto the ground.
At the incident site, police reported that there appeared to be no apparent injuries on the person claimed to be the victim. However, they still apprehended Kennedy due to accusations of a minor offense related to domestic battery involving a partner or housemate.
Law enforcement officials were first called to the home due to allegations that Kennedy was involved in a heated dispute with a woman, during which he is said to have grabbed her.
On Saturday, Lewber, aged 28 (in a relationship with Kennedy since 2022), shared his thoughts about his recent arrest through a post on Kennedy’s Instagram Stories.
She wrote, ‘I’m grateful to all who have expressed kindness and support, as well as those who have taken the time to check on me.’
I’m doing well, thanks, and currently prioritizing some personal time. I truly value your understanding and consideration for my space during this period.
Kennedy was released after paying a $20,000 bail, according to police records.

On Tuesday, Ally shared hosting duties for the pre-New Year’s Eve party held in Los Angeles, however, Kennedy did not make an appearance at the event.
Previously, there had been rumors that Ally denied an incident involving her and Kennedy as a ‘physical fight’ at the 2022 MTV Movie Awards after-party.
‘That never happened. There was no physical altercation,’ she said on Scheana Shay’s podcast Scheananigans.
‘Yes, we were in the car together. I thought we were having fun. We were having fun. But then James and I did get into an argument, but there was no physical assault,’ she said.
Kristen Doute, who had a relationship with Kennedy from 2014 to 2015, posted a comment on Instagram in response to the recent arrest. Her statement was concise: ‘At last,’ she wrote alongside a shared news article.
Doute has previously indicated her ex was abusive.
