Laura-Leigh has decided to speak up regarding the accusations of bullying against Stassi Schroeder that reportedly occurred during their time together on Vanderpump Rules, dating back more than ten years.

She pondered over her experience on the popular Bravo show during its inaugural season, reminiscing about the origin of their dispute. This disagreement ignited when she entered into a relationship with Jax Taylor, aged 45, shortly after his separation from Schroeder.

On a recent episode of the Vanderpump Rules Party podcast, the actress, who is now 33 years old, asserted that Schroeder, aged 36, often treated her harshly and bullied her while they were both in front of the camera.

During certain work periods, Stassi and her small group would enter and accidentally spill drinks on me, or they’d have the kitchen staff pass me hate mail, or they’d tell me, “Sit at my table,” only to criticize me while I was working. This is how she remembered it.

She said that ‘these things that were so wrong’ would continue when they weren’t filming too.

This occurs several months following Schroeder disclosing one of the most heinous and malicious actions she had ever performed against her spouse.

Reflecting on it now, the actress from We’re The Millers feels that her previous cast members acted as if it were for the sake of the show, however, everything seemed incredibly genuine to her at the time.

Laura-Leigh likewise remembered a time when Schroeder is said to have accused her of taking her medicine while she was on her path to sobriety.

However, it was Taylor who had allegedly taken it and let her take the fall for it.

In the very same podcast episode, she asserted that her total earnings for the entire season were just $500.

‘We were all working at SUR. I was a new hire. All of that was true,’ she recalled.

I chose not to participate in the show, as my agency warned that they might dismiss me for appearing on a reality TV program.

She stated that she wouldn’t give consent for filming, as she thought the show wouldn’t get aired without her signing the rights.

At that point in time, they had fired off so many scenes. They were unable to broadcast the series unless I added my approval, and at the time, I really believed – due to my innocence – that it would never become public knowledge. That was my assumption.

She eventually decided to join the show because she was struggling financially. As a single woman, she was managing everything on her own, including paying rent for her apartment and maintaining her car. Her parents weren’t providing any financial assistance. Between working numerous jobs, auditioning, and testing, she had depleted all of her resources.

I agreed to something in order to receive $500, which covered the remaining rent for that particular month. That was the amount I earned from the performance.

She said that she has not received any additional payments despite the show’s success.

There wasn’t any leftover payment for me; it was a blank slate, and I had to chase them down to receive my $500. The entire cast seemed to have been paid around $8,000 for the first season. Jax, along with everyone else, received approximately $8,000 each. The only way I know this is because that was all the money Jax had at his disposal. And I thought to myself, “If they’re getting paid, why can’t I get paid too?

‘They were like, “OK, we’ll give you $500.”‘

In the thrilling first chapter of this captivating series, I found myself deeply invested in the unfolding love triangle. However, the tension reached its peak when my beloved character, Taylor, made a bold move. He chose to attend Laura-Leigh’s Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with her, and as an obsessed fan, I held my breath, waiting for the resolution. To my surprise, the breakup ensued, marking the end of their tumultuous relationship. It was a heart-wrenching moment that left me yearning for more.

In the finale, she informed Lisa Vanderpump that she was leaving her position at SUR, as she had secured a part in a movie featuring Jennifer Aniston titled “We’re the Millers.

I’ve had the privilege of gracing various productions post-my debut, including The Client List, Blue Bloods, Under the Silver Lake, and numerous short films.

Instead, she chose to continue her acting career in full swing and, as mentioned in the podcast, maintain her commitment to her sobriety path.

Schroeder went on to star on the show for eight seasons until she was fired in 2020.

Approximately five years ago, she and her co-star, Kristen Doute, faced accusations for reportedly making racially inappropriate comments and phoning the police about Faith Stowers, who was the sole black cast member on Vanderpump Rules at that time.

Schroeder and Doute faced backlash for accusing Stowers of a crime she did not commit.

Though they expressed regret for their actions, they found themselves terminated during the aftermath, with their ‘racist’ conduct being publicly condemned.

Taylor exited the series that same year alongside his then-wife Brittany Cartwright.

The pair — who have since separated and filed for divorce — went on to star in The Valley.

The new show based on a different storyline made its first appearance in March 2024, and we can expect the second season to start airing towards the end of this year.

The popular series, “Vanderpump Rules,” is coming back on the airwaves soon, but there’ll be an entirely fresh group joining the cast for its 12th season.
