‘Vanderpump Rules’ alum James Kennedy arrested in Burbank on suspicion of domestic violence

The 32-year-old reality TV personality (full name James Kennedy Georgiou) was arrested after officers arrived at a residence in the area around 11:30 p.m., responding to a call about an argument between a man and a woman, a Burbank Police Department spokesperson said in a statement to The Times.

According to the spokesperson, they found out that it was a case within the home, which resulted in the arrest of Mr. Georgiou.

Reportedly by TMZ, Kennedy was detained under suspicion of a minor domestic violence offense. After posting a $20,000 bond, he was released. The Burbank City Attorney’s Office is currently investigating the matter, with charges yet to be officially filed.

A representative for Kennedy did not immediately respond to The Times’ request for comment.

Kennedy became a part of the “Vanderpump Rules” cast on Bravo in the year following its premiere in 2013. Since then, he has been featured in over 190 episodes, as per IMDb. He is one of the original stars who will be saying goodbye to the series as it undergoes a cast change prior to Season 12.

Prior to his subsequent arrest, both “VPR” alum and Lewber were in attendance at Kathy Hilton, a star from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” during her holiday gathering, as reported by TMZ.
