Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Has Now Been Delayed Until October

According to recent updates from Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room, “Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2” has been postponed once more, with its release now scheduled for the first half of 2025, as previously announced in August.

In an update from the official social media of Bloodlines 2, it has been announced that the game will be released in October 2025. This decision is made with the aim to deliver a top-notch gaming experience for you. To achieve this goal, they are temporarily halting the release of Dev Diaries so that the creators can focus on refining and improving the quality of the game.

As a devoted fan, I’m excitedly keeping tabs on the latest developments in our favorite game, and I recently caught a fresh ‘Game Update’ video that sheds some light on the recent delay. In this video, Executive Producer Marco Behrmann highlights all the fantastic new additions to the game since the last studio update.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that since our last chat, we’ve enriched the game with new content, deepened the narrative, advanced character development, and significantly transformed Fabien’s part in the storyline. Right now, we’re diligently working on squashing bugs, enhancing stability, and boosting performance.

Initially revealed in 2019, “Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2” was initially slated for a 2020 launch. However, the project was later passed from Hardsuit Labs to The Chinese Room over the subsequent years. Fingers crossed that the new release date of October 2025 remains unchanged.
