Vampire Diaries spinoff gets new UK streaming home
The Vampire Diaries spinoff show Legacies is coming to ITVX next month.
As a passionate fan, I embarked on an exciting journey with the third series set within the same universe as my beloved original spin-off, “The Originals.” This captivating tale kicked off back in 2018 and continued for an incredible four seasons before wrapping up in 2022.
Originally, you could purchase the entire series of the show from digital retailers such as Amazon’s Prime Video store in the UK. Now, however, it has been announced that all four seasons can be streamed for free via ITV’s streaming platform.

When Legacies was taken off air by its American network, The CW, showrunner Julie Plec expressed worry for the numerous individuals who had recently become unemployed across three of her series.
In our television career, we produced a total of 331 episodes, and it’s interesting to note that many crew members who were part of season one of “Vampire Diaries” also contributed to season four of “Legacies”.
We created an incredibly charming family dynamic during our three shows in Atlanta, and it’s truly disheartening to realize that this bond no longer exists.
As I immerse myself in this captivating game world, I can’t help but feel a creative spark ignite within me. You see, I’ve been brainstorming concepts for a potential fourth installment in this universe. Yet, I firmly stand by my conviction that there will be another chapter to explore in this enchanting realm.
Regrettably, there hasn’t been much new information shared publicly about the franchise’s future since that time.
