What is the Unreal Engine 5?
As a gamer, I can tell you that Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) is my go-to tool for creating immersive virtual worlds and gameplay experiences. It was developed by the genius behind Epic Games. You might have seen UE5 in action in popular games like Fortnite, Black Myth: Wukong, and others. In fact, Fortnite was where UE5 really shined when its Battle Royale mode got a visual upgrade back in December 2021.
Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) plays a significant role in creating 3D environments that are both straightforward and adaptable across various sectors, among them architecture, broadcasting, live events, and television production. Moreover, UE5 is equipped to handle larger files often employed in the development of console games like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S.
What is going to change in VALORANT with Unreal Engine 5?
Currently, this technology doesn’t impact anything, as Anna Donlon, Senior Vice President and Head of VALORANT Studios, stated today. Yet, enhancing the game’s graphical quality is a primary objective. “Although people might have lots of good things to say about the game, it’s probably not known for its graphics,” she noted.
