The decisions for all matches are now finalized, but please note that this is not yet the official timetable. Riot Games will announce the precise schedule shortly. Exciting clashes await fans as G2 Esports face off against Trace Esports, EDG compete against Team Liquid, Team Vitality battle it out against T1, and DRX go head-to-head with Sentinels.
A number of spectators have expressed that this upcoming event may prove to be one of the toughest contests of the year given the closely matched qualifying rounds. Last month, EDG’s Wan “CHICHOO” Shunzhi mentioned in an interview that they hoped to face off against Team Liquid, and it seems as though this wish is about to come true.
2023 saw the EDG team organizing a get-together between CHICHOO and Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin from Team Liquid, as the player was eager to chat with him. After a while of talking, they both decided to swap their t-shirts.
Among the most highly-anticipated contests in the draft is the face-off between DRX and Sentinels. Both teams are poised for impressive displays, with DRX being the victor of VCT Pacific Kickoff and Sentinels claiming the #2 seed from VCT Americas. In a show of sportsmanship, the American team has already extended their well wishes to EDward Gaming, who they believe will emerge triumphant at the VALORANT Champions 2024 tournament.
