During Pride Month, it’s a unique opportunity to honor love, and VALORANT Americas has prepared a delightful surprise for everyone attending the Masters Toronto event as well as tourists in the city. The artist responsible for the mural, Strawberry, has disclosed some insights about the creation process.
VALORANT Masters Toronto Pride Mural
In Toronto, at 768 Queen Street West, a fresh mural has emerged, adding vibrancy to the urban landscape. This mural honors both Pride Month and VALORANT’s fifth anniversary, created by artist Strawberry, a long-term VALORANT community member since its beta release in 2020. The artwork is an impressive tribute to diversity, identity, and the expanding influence of the game. Its debut aligns with Masters Toronto’s start, making it a relevant and significant contribution to the city’s artistic and esports culture.
The statement reveals that a work of art by Strawberry is dedicated, celebrating the happiness, resilience, and individuality within the LGBTQIA+ community in gaming, esports, and beyond. It creatively combines well-known Toronto imagery with an exceptional lineup of VALORANT characters. According to the announcement, this mural will be visible all month long. For those unable to visit it physically or wishing to admire it daily on their devices, they can download it for personal use on their computers or mobile phones!
In North America, Brazil, and Latin America, our community consistently demonstrates the essence of leading with compassion, participating with intention, and presenting oneself with honor. We frequently acknowledge and commend the LGBTQIA+ fans, athletes, musicians, and competitors who have significantly shaped VALORANT into what it is now. However, this particular month, we’re celebrating even more loudly and proudly than usual.

Behind the mural with Strawberry
During a chat with Riot Games, Strawberry discussed the thought process behind the creation of her mural. She invested time studying Toronto’s rich cultural heritage. As she put it, “I aimed to make the mural seem like a snapshot that the agents took while they were either exploring or unwinding in Toronto.
Her aim was to generate a relaxed and playful memory with the team members, as Toronto’s vibrant creativity and artistic vibe fueled her inspiration. She aspired for the mural to encapsulate the genuine essence of the city. This venture served as a significant achievement for Strawberry; she admitted, “This is my initial work being transformed into a mural. I’ve always admired these agents, and having the chance to contribute to this project was an extraordinary experience that held immense value for me.
Strawberry openly admitted that her most cherished memories with VALORANT revolve around playing with friends. To her, it’s not just about gameplay, but also laughter and enjoyment. The launch of Chamber stood out to her, as she knew from the initial trailer that he would become her primary character.
