Valerie Bertinelli says she’s been ‘talking’ to her late mom as she writes her new book

Valerie Bertinelli is putting in a lot of effort into her upcoming book, and she’s recently disclosed a few aspects that have served as motivation for her throughout the writing journey.

On Friday, the actress, now 65, openly expressed some thoughts to her followers on social media after overcoming her recent anxieties and getting back into acting.

In her lengthy post, she shared that as she settled at her computer to carry on with editing, reading, and writing for her upcoming book (more details when it’s closer to publication date), thoughts about inspiration arose. She reflected on how her workspace has evolved throughout the years.

The Bingo Blitz host has been pondering over this quote, “Life never presents more than you can manage,” for quite some time now, and it seems to be a constant reminder for him.

Speaking from personal experience she told her follower the saying ‘has proven to be quite true.’

Life can seem exceptionally tough and demanding at times, yet I manage to persevere. More importantly, moments of joy and tranquility significantly overshadow those hardships.

She then revealed she had added an old photo of her mom, Nancy, who died in 2019.

In this timeless black-and-white photograph, I’m reminded of a moment frozen in time, capturing the essence of a young woman who was undeniably radiant at 18 years old. Can’t help but marvel at her timeless beauty!

The Hot in Cleveland star then revealed, ‘I’ve been talking to her a lot lately.’

As a lifestyle guide, allow me to express this sentiment in a more personal and accessible way: “Her every word resonates with me, I sense her attentiveness. If only she were physically present, I’d cherish the chance to witness her understanding reflected in her eyes.

Speaking about her mother’s passing almost six years ago, Valerie, the author of Valerie’s Home Cooking, shared, ‘So many words remained unspoken while she was still here. My regrets have faded, but I wish she could feel the depth of my love for her.’

Many of the One Day at a Time star’s fans wrote in sharing their own stories of love and loss.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but express my feelings about the stunning Val. My heart swells with pride whenever I gaze upon my cherished photo of my mother and me, displayed prominently on my refrigerator. There are days when her absence leaves me feeling unbearably lonely, but I find solace in knowing she’s always with me, in spirit.

This comment brings to mind my mother whom I sadly lost in ’22. It’s beautiful to recall her, and I constantly discover methods to keep her close during my journey. It’s wonderful that you do the same while crafting your own work! ❤️❤️

Some people showed gratitude for her wise words, as one admirer put it, “You’re healing and aiding numerous individuals through your words.

Let me make it clear, I deeply value the truthfulness you show when discussing the difficulties and feelings of life. It’s truly invigorating to read your thoughts. Please continue sharing them, Valerie!

On Thursdays, she posted a picture at the end of the day with the caption, ‘Today was full of writing, reading, and editing. My head feels heavy now.’

Last week, Bertinelli shared that she finished an acting project which had been quite stressful for her. She expressed her feelings by saying, “It’s a wrap! I feel grateful and joyful,” on Instagram.
