Valerie Bertinelli has revealed what makes her happiest.
On Thursday, the 65-year-old actress expressed her excitement at seeing her 34-year-old son Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the late rock legend Eddie Van Halen, perform live.
The actor from “One Day At A Time” was performing his newest show with his group Mammoth at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Bertinelli expressed satisfaction, penning that she did her favorite activity tonight. She was fortunate enough to witness her son shine on stage.”
This paraphrase maintains the original meaning and tone while making the sentence more accessible and natural for a broader audience.
Bertinelli added she was, ‘Happy ✔️ Proud ✔️ Grateful ✔️.’
In an Instagram post, Bertinelli shared a clip featuring her son, wearing a pink shirt and torn jeans, strumming a guitar on stage with their band’s name visibly behind him.
Mammoth is set to release a new album called “The End” on October 24th. Starting from October 31st, the tour for this album will begin in Rancho Mirage, California.
Bertinelli previously took part in her son’s professional journey; she featured in the music video of their song “The End” back in May.
Discussing what Eddie (who passed away from cancer at the age of 65 in 2020) might have felt or thought about his son, Bertinelli addressed this topic in August.
In my latest social media post, I penned down this heartfelt sentiment: “Who can I share my unique conversations about dear old Wolfie with now, as there was simply no one else who understood us in quite the same way?
Reflecting on our shared sense of accomplishment, it continues to resonate within me. I remain thankful for the journey that led us here, filled with its highs and lows, and the fact that we’ve managed to end up exactly where we are is truly a source of blessings.
She said, ‘I remember how excited we used to get, cheering side by side at his performances, trying to outdo each other with our whistles. I’ll always cherish those moments and regret not having them anymore with you.’
Approximately two years ago, Wolfgang tied the knot with his long-time partner Andraia Allsop in a wedding ceremony held in Los Angeles.

During the ceremony, Wolfgang and Andraia honored their deceased father, Eddie, in a special way. They reserved a seat for him throughout the event, as reported by People, and created mementos adorned with “Wolf and Eddie” that attendees could view during the day.
Bertinelli also lent Andraia a necklace for the day which Eddie had given to her.
She mentioned that if Ed were here, he would undeniably radiate pride and joy seeing the person Wolfie has transformed into and continues to become. He’d also be delighted that Wolfie found Andraia – someone who truly comprehends Wolfie, his essence, aspirations, and stands by him unconditionally.
The couple got married in their living room, while their 90 guests celebrated in the backyard. A close family friend of the Van Halens oversaw the wedding ceremony.

Both Wolfgang and Andraia wrote their own vows and honored their late loved ones in their speeches.
Wolfgang donned a tailor-made, three-part suit, whereas Andraia opted for an Eva Lendel gown featuring see-through sleeves and embellishments.
Or:
Wolfgang chose a handcrafted, three-piece ensemble, while Andraia selected an Eva Lendel design with transparent sleeves and ornamentation.
Both sentences convey the same information but in different ways to create variety and engage readers more effectively.
It’s unexpected that the Grammy-nominated artist, Wolfgang, didn’t perform at his wedding; instead, they hired a DJ for their reception.
He joked: “People tend to think at first glance, ‘Are you going to perform something?’ But let me clarify, performing is actually the farthest thing from my mind right now. In eleven days, I’ll be on tour. Frankly, I don’t feel like it.
‘Last thing I want to think about is playing anything.’
In 2015, they crossed paths for the first time on Instagram, and their initial meeting led to a dinner date at Aroha, where they savored sushi together. Later, they admired the beautiful Malibu sunset as it set.
The wedding comes after Eddie died following a stroke and longtime cancer battle.
Due to complications from pneumonia, myelodysplastic syndrome in his bone marrow, and lung cancer, the musician unfortunately succumbed to a stroke as his final cause of death.

In 2022, Valerie Bertinelli, recognized for her roles in shows like One Day at a Time, Touched by an Angel, and Hot in Cleveland, shared in her memoir Enough Already: Learning to Love the Way I Am Today that Eddie (presumably her ex-husband Eddie Van Halen) had told her before he passed away, “I love you.
Bertinelli and Van Halen remained married for 26 years and continued to be close even following their 2007 divorce. Notably, Bertinelli was with him during his final moments when he passed away.
In a heartfelt portion of her memoir, Bertinelli shared the emotional final conversations they had before his passing at 65, along with the special token her soulmate presented to her amidst his cancer fight.
In Bertinelli, Wolfgang (their son), Janie Liszewski (Van Halen’s second wife), and Alex Van Halen (his brother) were among the cherished individuals who spent time with Eddie during his last hospital days before he passed away.
