Valentino is planning to debut L’Atelier Sonore, a customized audio space boasting advanced sound technology, within their Madison Avenue store in New York City, on the 15th of May.

The cozy area was developed in partnership with the Italian cultural collective Terraforma, serving as a sanctuary for “immersive listening experiences and peaceful reflection.” The carefully designed soundscapes by Terraforma and sound designer Giorgio Di Salvo create a subtle yet deep connection between oneself and the world, as described by the brand.

Architect Franceso Lupia planned the layout featuring three key aspects: a custom sound system, a versatile listening station crafted in the style of traditional woodworking, and adjustable seating adorned with velvet pillows. All these elements are enclosed in elegantly patterned woods, aiming to replicate the ambiance of a contemporary high-end listening room.

On May 15th at 2 p.m. ET, Valentino and Terraforma are set to begin a 10-hour live event in the listening room, where they’ll host several 45-minute sessions with artists such as Laraaji, Lea Bertucci, Laurel Halo, Lizzi Bougatsos, Chuquimamani-Condori, Kevin Beasley, Veronica Vasicka, and Physical Therapy. This occasion will mark the start of the event.

After the musical marathon concludes, Valentino’s Sound Workshop (L’Atelier Sonore) will stay open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Eastern Time, up until the end of August. Feel free to explore the premises by checking out the pictures in the gallery above.
