Usher POSTPONES Atlanta concert hours before showtime: 'Never want to disappoint my fans'

As a long-time fan who has witnessed Usher’s electrifying performances since the early days, it’s always a bittersweet moment when such news surfaces. I remember his iconic appearances at Atlanta‘s very own State Farm Arena, where he never failed to deliver an unforgettable show. The man is a true testament to dedication and passion in the music industry.

At the eleventh hour, Usher unexpectedly delayed his tour performance that was set for Atlanta on Wednesday.

Instead of posting the original text, let me rephrase it as follows: The 45-year-old musician shared an emotional post on Instagram announcing that he would be canceling the opening performance of his Past Present Future tour.

He wrote that he needs to ‘give my body time to rest and heal,’ without revealing the specific nature of his ailment.

Throughout my over three decades in this field, every ounce of my effort – blood, sweat, and tears – has been poured into delivering exceptional performances and crafting unforgettable experiences for my devoted followers, I proudly declare.

“I plan to carry out that action during the current tour as well, hence I must cancel tonight’s performance and move it to a later time. This will allow me some time to rest and recover.”

He added, “You’ll indeed experience a blend of the past, a glimpse of the current moment, and an exclusive peek into what lies ahead on the new date. Rest assured, you’ll receive my full commitment.”

1. “I truly don’t desire to let any of you down, the enthusiastic fans looking forward to our upcoming tour. Yet, it’s crucial for me as an artist to deliver my utmost, which might not always be possible.”

DailyMail.com has reached out to Usher’s reps for comment.

The decision to postpone seems to have been made at the last minute.

On a Monday, Usher announced via social media that he would be returning to Atlanta, stating “ATL, I’ll be back home. The first night of #PPF is just two days away.” By the following Tuesday evening, information regarding tickets and parking for the Wednesday show was still being distributed.

His upcoming concerts in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena are set for Friday and Saturday, but there’s doubt whether they’ll proceed as scheduled.

At the time this article was published, Ticketmaster continues to indicate that the concerts scheduled for Friday and Saturday in Atlanta will go on as originally planned.

As a devoted follower, I eagerly anticipate that our tour will commence on those Atlanta dates, followed by a journey across the continent, concluding at the end of October.
