US-based Home And Away star reveals the first thing she does every time she returns to Australia
As a die-hard coffee enthusiast and Aussie expat residing in Nashville, Tennessee, let me tell you, Tammin Sursok’s story resonates deeply with my soul! The lengths she goes to for that perfect cup of Australian coffee are nothing short of heroic. I mean, who wouldn’t brave 9,208 miles and over 20 hours of travel time just for a taste of Australia’s unparalleled coffee scene?
Despite no longer residing in Australia, Tammin Sursok finds it difficult to live without certain aspects of her native land.
On her Instagram Stories, the ex-star of Home and Away, aged 41, openly confessed her strong affection for coffee, going as far as being willing to journey around the world in search of a good brew.
As a devoted admirer, hailing from the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee, I couldn’t help but share a captivating video, shot from my perspective, depicting my eagerly extended hand, seemingly reaching for a cup.
The clip showed her at an airport and boarding a flight with her ‘coffee’ hand locked firmly in place.
The actress then touched down in Australia and walked the streets of Sydney, hand still raised.
She then walked into a café and picked up a takeaway cup that was waiting for her at the counter.
‘I just flew 9,208 miles to Australia,’ Tammin superimposed over the footage.
‘Over 20 hours of travel time to finally get a good cup of coffee.’
Tammin gushed about the quality of Australian coffee.
‘Guys you gotta do what you gotta do! Australian coffee is like no other. Do you agree??!’
Tammin’s followers were in firm agreement with her assessment.
‘I just moved to LA and wow I miss Aussie coffee!! Send help/Aussie coffee,’ one fan pleaded.
Another chimed in with a similar: ‘From Melbourne, and anywhere I go, no one makes it better than here. It’s a big reason why I hate traveling I won’t enjoy the coffee.’
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t hide my dismay when I learned that Tammin’s initial pick for Down Under wasn’t another iconic Australian dish.
They wrote, “I had sort of expected it to be for a Bunning’s sandwich,” which made Tammin chuckle.
Following Tammin’s recent disclosure about her first date’s extraordinary, off-putting actions that she found distasteful, this article is now published.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I recently found myself reminiscing about an unfortunate dining experience from my past during a chat with the esteemed Scott Tweedie on his captivating podcast, The S**t Show.
She stated that she’s been self-reliant financially all along, but what really disgusted her was an incident where a man, upon receiving the check, took out a highlighter of two colors to break down the invoice line by line.
Later, he started pointing out their individual meals to calculate the cost for both of them.
‘He was the blue highlighter and I was the pink one,’ she said.
‘The breakdown was precise to the penny, with amounts like $0.68. At that time, I must admit, I had assumed (regardless of whether it was correct or not), he would cover the bill.’
