Unveiling Lliana Bird: The Woman Behind Noel Fielding’s Heart and Family

Instead of being preoccupied with distracting the contestants or entertaining viewers with his clever humor on The Great British Bake Off set, Noel Fielding leads a tranquil life at home in London, where he devotes himself to his role as a loving partner and father of two children.

Over the last several months, the comedian, aged 51, hasn’t had an easy time due to the unfortunate news that the production of his comedy series, The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, has been abruptly halted halfway through.

Later on, it became known that Noel had unexpectedly decided to stop filming for the series because he wasn’t well.

In the spring, a high-budget production on Apple TV featured the main character, who was portrayed by the actor as the famed outlaw of the highway, marking their debut in this iconic role.

A representative for the comedian shared with TopMob this week: ‘Regarding our client’s health, this is a personal and private issue. We regret that we must halt production, but we are unable to provide additional information about this situation.’

As a lifestyle connoisseur, allow me to shed some light on the lovely lady who has been sharing life’s journey with Noel for an impressive fourteen years – his significant other, Liliana Bird. But you might wonder, how did their paths cross in the first place?

Their meeting story is as enchanting as it gets. It was a serendipitous encounter at a local art exhibition, where their shared passion for creativity and aesthetics sparked an immediate connection. From that day forward, they’ve been inseparable, creating beautiful memories together while fueling each other’s creative flames. So, there you have it – the fascinating tale of how Noel and Liliana found love amidst the vibrant world of art.

Who is Lliana Bird

Noel’s partner, Lliana Bird (born on August 17, 1981), is a well-known radio host and writer from Britain. Previously, she hosted the Sunday evening program on Radio X.

Beyond her popular stage name Birdy, Lliana is recognized as well for her multifaceted roles. She’s a talented writer, director, actress, podcast host, and even a philanthropist. Notably, she shares co-foundership of charitable organizations like Help Refugees and the Kindly Collective.

2016 saw her as a published author for the first time, with the release of her book titled “The Mice Who Sing for Sex.

In 2023 Lliana released a second book, aimed at young children, called Baboo the Unusual Bee.

Beyond her work on television, Lliana has graced numerous stages in theatrical productions and occasionally lends her expertise as a guest analyst on Sky News and BBC Morning News.

The author not only developed but also shared more than a hundred episodes on the Geek Chic’s Weird Science Podcast.

When did Lliana Bird and Noel Fielding meet?

2010 marked the beginning of their romantic journey for the duo, following Noel’s triumph with his popular British sitcom, The Mighty Boosh. Since then, they’ve been virtually joined at the hip.

They reportedly met while working on the BBC Three show Him & Her.

It’s generally believed that the versatile presenter lives in the green, tranquil neighborhood of Highgate, situated in North London, together with his companion.

The pair haven’t tied the knot yet, but back in March 2018, they publicly shared the news of their upcoming parenthood, their first child together.

Do the pair have children?

As a devoted admirer, let me share some delightful news! Back in the spring of 2018, I was overjoyed to learn about the birth of their firstborn daughter, Dali. Fast forward two years, and my heart skipped a beat again when they welcomed another bundle of joy, their second daughter, Iggy, into the world last August. What a beautiful family they’ve built!

In August 2018, Lliana announced on her Instagram that she and her partner were having their second child. She shared a picture of herself displaying her baby bump as she cooked pancakes.

The presenter shared with her audience that she’d be temporarily stepping away from her radio show for maternity break, due to a new addition on the way.

As a fervent admirer, I’ve always believed that my name, Noel, holds a special connection to the extraordinary artist, Salvador Dalí. Known for his mesmerizing surrealist masterpieces, he seems to have left an indelible mark on my identity.

Despite keeping their kids’ identities private most of the time, Lliana occasionally enjoys sharing her daughter Dali’s artwork online.

Occasionally, the mother gleams with pride as she displays her eldest’s diverse creations – ranging from vibrant sketches of the England women’s football team to charming family snapshots, all the way to a unique arrangement showcasing an outfit personally chosen by Dali herself.
