Unpredictable thriller Drop is already available to watch at home in the US
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that the captivating mystery series, “Drop” featuring the talented Meghann Fahy, is now ready for streaming within the comfort of our homes across the United States!
In the direction of Christopher Landon, who brought us “Happy Death Day”, comes the movie titled “Drop“. This film centers around Fahy’s character, Violet – a widowed mother – as she embarks on her first date with Brandon Sklenar portraying Henry.
Over the course of her dinner at a restaurant, Violet is troubled by a string of mysterious texts on her phone, warning that her child will be harmed unless she takes Henry’s life.

Dating can have dangerous consequences. Violet’s evening out with Henry takes an unexpected turn when a string of dropped calls forces her into a chilling predicament: either endanger her date or jeopardize her child’s safety.
The movie was shown in theaters starting from 11th April. It’s now possible for U.S. residents to purchase or rent it on Amazon Prime Video, having only been out of theaters for a few weeks.
The U.K. launch date for the digital version is still undecided, however, those who love thrillers on this side can already pre-order the film through Amazon Prime Video.
In a recent conversation with Digital Spy, Fahy shared her experience of executing her own stunts for the first time, expressing a willingness to take on similar challenges in the future.
She expressed a strong desire for more experiences similar to the one she had just encountered. It was captivating and invigorating, employing her body in such a manner. She particularly appreciated the physical aspect of storytelling. In other words, she’d be thrilled to participate in additional activities like that.
In a similar vein, Fahy, who plays the role of Violet in “The White Lotus,” expressed that if she found herself in the same circumstances as her character, she might not handle it as gracefully as Violet does.
If everyone were here, none of us would still be alive – not me, not Brandon. I’m not sure I could have foreseen that. It’s quite an extraordinary thought, isn’t it?”
This version maintains the original meaning while using more conversational and less formal language.
In the movie, Violet shows a lot of intelligence, and that’s one of the reasons I adore her so much. She’s incredibly quick-witted, and it’s truly remarkable how she handles situations in the heat of the moment.
Drop is available to buy or rent from Prime Video in the US.
