As a long-time fan of immersive action-adventure games, I can hardly contain my excitement for Unknown 9: Awakening! The latest developer commentary gameplay video from Bandai Namco and Reflector Entertainment has only fueled my anticipation further.
Bandai Namco recently shared a new video featuring behind-the-scenes insights from the developers as they showcase gameplay for Unknown 9: Awakening. This is an exciting action-adventure title set in a sun-soaked desert landscape.
You assume the role of Haroona, an intrepid explorer, with the power to connect to a dimensional energy that seems otherworldly.

I’m thrilled to embark on an adventure as Haroona, the exceptional Quaestor endowed with the rare gift of traversing the enigmatic dimension called the Fold. This parallel realm intertwines with ours, and Haroona is on a mission to uncover the potent secrets it holds. As I progress through this quest, I’ll hone my skills in mastering my distinctive link to the Fold. By doing so, I can tap into its extraordinary powers and bring them into our world.
The game was revealed back in 2020, and Bandai Namco acquired Reflector that same year.
Unknown 9: Awakening is scheduled for release this autumn, on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
