Uniting Overwatch 2 fans worldwide: Rubiart and AnabeoArt at DreamHack Stockholm 2025!

I created those designs specifically for DreamHack because I was really looking forward to the World Finals and the whole event.

DreamHack Stockholm 2025 was a huge success, breaking attendance records with over 60,000 visitors from 70 different countries! The event wasn’t just about esports – which included major tournaments like the 2025 Overwatch Champions Series World Finals and the ESL Impact League Season 8 Finals – it also featured the work of around 40 artists. Our team at Esports.gg was there and had a chance to talk with artists AnabeoArt and Rubiart about their creations!

Rubiart celebrates Overwatch 2 at DreamHack Stockholm 2025

Lots of artists displayed their work near the entrance to DreamHack Stockholm 2025, but Rubiart’s booth stood out. She had a great selection of fanart and merchandise, including keychains of the HEARTSTEEL characters from League of Legends, and cute items featuring characters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Rubiart featured plenty of Overwatch 2 merchandise, like a sticker of Genji in one of his winning poses. They also had items with Reinhardt, Mei, Kiriko, and Ana on them.

Rubiart surprised fans in an interview with Xpsp by admitting she primarily plays Roadhog. She also explained that she made the trip all the way from Austria to attend DreamHack Stockholm 2025. This was her first time in Sweden, and she said the long journey was definitely worth it.

Rubiart has been playing the game since it came out. They primarily play as Roadhog and created the Mei print a while back. They designed the stickers specifically for DreamHack, wanting to celebrate the World Finals. They really enjoy drawing the characters from Overwatch because of their fun designs.

She explained that while she couldn’t be in Hall B constantly to watch the OWCS World Finals 2025, she was able to follow the esports matches on her phone whenever she could. Plus, her colleague who helped at the booth let her explore the festival grounds twice.

More of Rubiart’s work can be found via her online shop.

AnabeoArt at DreamHack Stockholm 2025

We also spotted AnabeoArt in the artist alley, and her bright Kiriko prints immediately caught our eye. She was selling the artwork in two different sizes, each showing the support hero smiling and ready to fight with her kunai.

AnabeoArt shared with Xpsp that she came all the way from Lithuania to attend the event, and the drive was quite long. She also said she really appreciates the Overwatch 2 fans at DreamHack Stockholm and loves the game’s art style.

AnabeoArt shared their enthusiasm for the game’s character designs and the frequent introduction of new skins. They also expressed sincere appreciation for the dedication and effort of both the developers and the passionate fan community, noting how wonderful it is to see the game and its fandom flourish over time.

If you couldn’t make it to the festival, you can still explore more of AnabeoArt’s creations on her Etsy shop.

DreamHack Stockholm 2025 demonstrated the power of esports to bring people together and inspire creativity, as fans and artists celebrated their shared passion for gaming and art.
